Brits 'have no fashion sense' & voted worst-dressed in Europe

BRITS obsessed with cheap stores have been voted the worst-dressed in Europe. Consumers in seven countries voted Brits bottom - beaten even by the Germans. A whopping 44 percent said the Brits were worst-dressed behind the likes of the Swedes and Dutch in the survey by shopping website Ciao.

The survey found 85 percent of British shoppers spend less than 100 pounds a month on their wardrobes - the worst result of all seven nations. In Germany 58 percent of people were said to spend up to 200 pounds a month on clothes and in Spain six percent spend more than 500 pounds a month.

The Italians were voted the most stylish with only three percent calling them as badly dressed.

Other stats showed 29 percent of Brits considered their sunglasses were their most important style accessory compared with only three percent in France and Italy. And only 11 percent of British women thought their handbags were anything but functional compared with 26 percent of women in Italy who consider it a fashion accessory.

The poll reportedly suggested that the Brits' love for budget fashion could be to blame.

Now you're picking on the way they dress? Did the Brits f**k you over in a previous life or what?

And your source is a newspaper that tells 80% bullshit. Sort of like you :)

If you travel around Europe, you'll find that we're actually some of the best dressed Europeans. Having lived in Spain and travelled to France, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Belgium, Portugal, Poland, Italy, Greece, Slovenia and Finland, I can tell you that bar the Italians and to a certain extent the Dutch, British people make MUCH more of an effort with their clothing and appearance than any other Europeans.

In the future, don't use The Sun as a source.

Who cares when you are on vacation? Isn't the point that you don't have to get dressed up and go into the office. :(

It's not the Sun's fault that the Brits are the worst tippers in the world.

I think this source had been to a council estate and checked out the Chavs and Hoodies to justify Brits not knowing how to dress.

Europeans voted the Brits messy, bad tippers and very likely to complain, according to Expedia, which gauges the opinions of over 4,500 hoteliers worldwide.

Wait, so you think that because a person chooses not to spend £100 on a pair of jeans that they are incapable of dressing well and looking good? Smells like bullshit to me.
And if you have such a problem with the British having a lot of 'cheap' stores (the only two clothes shops that really fall under this category are Primark and New Look anyway) you should take into account that pretty much every European has these stores as well.

We actually tip more than any other Europeans. And messy? Try living with Spansh. Very likely to complain?? If anything, we're the least likely. The British are overly polite in a lot of situations.

Post by post, you're proving that you know nothing about Britain.

When my luggage was broken in London I went to Primark to buy another one. I still use it since the color is much different. It saved me 30 quid which is 50 dollars.

God damn, dude. Come on......just trying to find anything to diss the UK.

And it can't be worse than the shit the youth in America wear, these days. Even though America doesn't apply in Europe, still.

I imagine if someone were doing a search of British people or things they might stumble on this forum and find these weird anti UK threads as if this were whitewomenblackmenandwehatethebrits.com. So if that happens, this is the disclaimer to any denzbenz thread:

The opinions expressed by DenzBenz regarding the UK or British people are solely those of DenzBenz and do not reflect the opinions of whitewomenblackmen.com.

and denz, as the great UK band The Smiths said: That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore!!!! You either need to vent your UK hatred and explain this POV in one thread or give it up, it's beyond absurd at this point.
