Exactly. Who would want to be tied down in a committed relationship while they are in VEGAS??? ( I think that some of you would like to be tied down while in VEGAS so I had to rephrase that.)

Thanks GG. I have AC finally. I hope the person who invented air conditioning got really rich off of it, cause man is it fantabulous! I'm actually gonna sleep tonight, and I agree with you on the sweating.

 

lol...aint that the truth...!!! because i rent the houses never have ac & the kids & i suffer for it...the fans just end up pushing the hot air round the house. hope you have sweet dreams tonight espy

 

Thanks Tarshi, I have sweet dreams most nights... when I can actually sleep. I've just spent the last 3 nights fuming cause it's been too damn hot.

Espy, glad to hear you have A/C again. I could seriously dig up the man who invented A/C and kiss him. LOL. I can't live without it!! It's too humid in Chicago to live without air conditioning.

Girl, it's too bad we don't live closer - my hubs just graduated last friday with his HVAC certification. I will officially never be without a/c again. Woot Woot!!

On a side note, a friend of mine's daughter went missing on Monday afternoon. She had been missing for over 24hrs, when she was finally returned safe and sound with her mom. Absolutely terrifying stuff. As a parent, I canNOT imagine what she must have been going through...I don't want to imagine. I'm just thrilled that everything is okay now. God is good.

 

Not sure if I've mentioned this somewhere, but in the last 18 months or so, my life has changed a lot. I (finally) moved from Florida back east (Maryland to be exact) as i got a great job in Virginia; i got married last summer and as such will be looking forward to a year's marital anniversary. Oh, and my twin daughters are getting towards preschool age. I am definitely loving life as a father and husband, even though it can be tough as the only male in a house full of the fairer sex

I am definitely a happy man, thanks to God
