It went from lighthearted to serious back to lighthearted back to serious, now it's kinda mellow again. So, I'm just gonna answer the original question and let it be... A lot of the ladies on here said they don't have a preference...I guess that I'm a big weirdo, b/c I actually do have a preference. I love medium-dark to dark. If I'm gonna go black, I'm GONNA GO BLACK!! It's not to say that I'm not attracted to the occasional caramel colored brotha, but 9x out of 10, the brothas that make me do a double take are rich, hershey-colored, chocolatey goodness. My husband is dark - he's beautiful from head to toe...and everywhere in between. When it comes to skin shade, I personally don't think there is anything sexier than a chocolate-skinned brotha man. Gotta love it. Now I'm going to sneak out of here before the conversation gets all crazy serious and scary again, lol.

I cant but reply on this regarding shades of black. Never thought about the shades more the features of the man. Dark is dark and I am loving it. I just find it sexy

because it is always a thing between black folks to argue about their skin tones between each other. Remember school dazes the movie. that movie address that issue....Light skinned versus Black skinned.
trust me white people argue it too. The thing is if no one brings it up then it isn't talked about which is why I hate it when people make threads like this.
Bringing it up isn't a bad thing. No one said light was better than dark or vice versa its a discussion preference. We seriously need to let it go. If I can being dark as midnight myself I don't see why anyone shouldn't be able to. Its a big deal when we make it a big deal.
