Cop Punches Girl's Face

Both them girls are dumb as hell. The cops was a little excessive. I don't know if I would punched her, but I woulda got a little physical, too. Probably woulda pushed her back, unless I got punched. You don't run up on a cop worth some shit like that. Girl in the pink had no business getting up in that scuffle. I like how she looked over at the camera and then decided to act. But for real, though, she gets in the middle of a scuffle that wasn't even involving her and then runs up and pushes the cop.


And the thing I hate the most is when bystanders get all in the cop's face. Even if he is wrong, it's not gonna make shit better, and you're getting in the way. Don't the dumb muthafuckas know? You don't run up on a cop, especially behind, in a heated moment like that. When you're actin' a ghetto as fool, I'd wanna slam some punks on my hood, too.

The reason jaywalking is a crime is because without limitations, humans (otherwise known as pedestrians) would be crossing roadways without concern to how their behavior affects traffic. A good number of road incidents are caused by pedestrians. This is the reason there are traffic signals both for cars AND pedestrians.

No matter how stupid a law sounds, its origin is usually logically based even if that logic is faulty or its necessity changes over the course of time.

 

He was fucking with them...jaywalking...c'mon now....There are lot bigger crimes to solve than that.

Hell most have just frozen over, because I actually agree with one of your post. This is exactly how I feel about the situation. The girls were acting a fool, but would that cop have punched a 17 yr white girl? I highly doubt. White cops are so quick to use "appropriate tactics" whenever it comes to subduing black people. I can understand if the girls were crossing the I-95 but I jaywalked all the time in Center City Philadelphia and not once did a cop pull me over. The cop was just on some power trip, as many of them are.

You guys should go on youtube and look up cops tasering people. White people get that more than blacks. We have to stop attaching race to every single disagreement. Them being 17 or women had nothing to do with it. I don't care if the infraction is littering, when you are stopped by a cop you do so. Let's also keep in mind we saw her getting arrested but I doubt it was just for jaywalking. For an arrest to occur I guarantee that girl and her group of friends were not compliant with taking the ticket. They acted like ghetto trash by resisting arrest and carrying on for the camera. And before anyone says I'm only saying that because they're black that's not true. A skunk still stinks whether its all black all white or both. What should he have done differently?

Actually he was just doing his job. The guy is obviously a low ranking cop and I am sure his department make him do "bitch work" like citing people for jaywalking. Yes, it is very petty and lame to do but the police department does this to get easy money for themselves (you can also look up how at the end of the month, police issues a lot more speeding tickets and other minor violations just to pony up money). Thats just the way it is. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you push a cop or resist an arrest. If you do, well bad things can happen. Shit, she is lucky she only got punched. She's a big girl, I am sure she'll survive a punch to the face. And those girls arent exactly "little angels", they have committed crimes prior to this (coincidentally one was arrested before for pushing a Sherif)

They likely wouldn't have even been cited for the jaywalking, and would have gotten off with a warning, had they not be immediately inappropriate and disrespectful. Had it been a white girl and a black cop, I wouldn't think any differently. Those girls were out of line, and they should have been arrested. In this case justice was served.

Yeah, it coulda been handled differently, but the whole "you can't hit me because I'm a woman" gets no pity from me. The girl kept interfering with the cops and the other girl, so he did the quickest thing to get the other bitch off of him. If you wanna fight like a man....no, wait....if you wanna fight like an equal human being, you can get popped like an equal human being. Having mothers and sisters has nothing to do with it. What about fathers and brothers? It's no more fucked up to hit a woman than it is a man. And the cop would probably catch just as much shit for tackling her. Pretty much anything more than a light restraint will get a cop bitched at for being too rough with a woman.

 

As many said a well trained cop would have tackled her it is routine to engange in scare tactics, go after pressure points ,do arm bars neck locks, he couldve endangered the lives of many definetly his own, males who didnt agree with his action of throwing punches couldve taken him down for that most people disreagard a tackle for arrests, cops tackle people everyday if they do something serious thats on the perosn who commited the crime but the bottom line is he is clearly inexperienced on many levels.

 

Saying that lives could've been endangered is a little excessive. Jaywalking is more endangering than a cop punching a woman. There is a possibility that they could've jumped th cop for doing that, but I'm sure most of the witnesses would be stupid enough to jump a cop with that many people watching. I doubt most of the witnesses would be stupid enough to jump a cop, period. Although, there could've been a couple ghetto heathens in that video that would prove me wrong. The life endangerment would really start when the angry witnesses decided to approach the cop in a threatening manner, which would be no fault of the cop, since punching a woman doesn't warrant a group of angry onlookers to run up on a cop. If they run up on him, he might draw his gun, and the mob is stuck. Also, a tackle is kind of difficult when you are holding onto somebody who is trying their hardest to break free.
