This place can be very addictive. I go through times when I post a lot and then others when I'm hardly on. This place can be both fun and boring and also very positive and negative in the same breath.

My post count is so high for my short time being here is cause I get involved in idle chit-chatter in a lot of threads. Sometimes with more than one person.

I post on here pretty regularly but its always through my phone and I'm in acubicle so I'm not worried about anyone noticing. I enjoy it a lot because I get an opportunity to have intellectual exchanges about very taboo topics that most of my friends wouldn't touch. Like the immigration stuff or any of the negative stereotypes topics my friends would never go near. We try to keep it pretty light no politics and no religion. I have to be honest if it weren't wwbm I wouldn't be challenged enough mentally. I'm not in school right and accounting can be pretty mind numbing so I really appreciate having this site to go to.

Same here. I have my own business and my work is 100% done on the computer and online. I work an average of 14 hours a day, and some of that is file uploads and downloads, so I keep WWBM open in a tab on another screen and click back and forth during those down times. It's multi-tasking at it's best and I'm a really good multi-tasker.

This was my first thought Bookie. I have no idea what anyone's post count or daily post averages are, nor what my own are. That's not the purpose for being here. This isn't high school, I don't care what anyone else is doing, how many rep points they have, who likes whom, who gets the most rep, thank yous, no name mentions, etc. I joined because there are an inordinate number of intelligent, sweet, amusing, and highly insightful people here, and reading their thoughts drew me in. I post when I have something to say, and I give no thought to how many times a day, month, year that equates to. I also don't think anyone here has to justify how much time they spend here, it's their life, if they want to be on here 24/7 I know it's none of my business.

But for those that keep track of post count, what ought to bend your brain is how often I multi-quote. I try to combine all replies to previous posts in a thread in one single post, because I think it's more efficient that way, and I don't like seeing my avatar in a thread 7 times in a row. So if take into account how often I do that, then consider that counts as only one post... just think how high my post count would be if those were all single posts. Holy cow! It just boggles the mind... well not mine, but I'm sure it's buggin the hell outta somebody somewhere.

Frankly I find it odd that there are people who actually stalk other people's post counts, look at their averages, and worry how much rep they're getting. It's just not something I give one seconds thought to. It's also kind of amusing that it seems to be the people who complain about rep whoring, and using rep and post counts to seek the favor of other members that are the same people who can tell you where to find all of those things, how to sort the member list by rep, etc. None of which was I aware of until other people brought it up and pointed that out. If you claim not to give a damn about what anyone else thinks, or does... then do precisely that, try to focus and stand behind your words. I truly don't analyze and keep a running tally of what anyone else on here says or does, and I don't plan to. At the point I started doing that it'd be time to go, because this is an enjoyable distraction, that would be a damn job.

Cosign this too Bookie. There are some absolutely amazing people here, and my life is better for knowing them. There are people who inspire, amaze, and humble me on a daily basis. That's what keeps me coming back, and why I have no intention of leaving. I have to have my daily dose of WWBM, and I also wouldn't trade the experience of getting to know some of you for anything.

I acctually dont even know how I get to that number of posts.
I work about 60-80h per week not including travel time (work in 4 states) I go to the gym 5 days a week + working on my house/yard.
I think I spend less time on here than it appears, I just think I post a bunch of (miss-spelled) posts in the short intervals I spend on here.

I need a dose of my wwbm peeps:)
