Yes... I've met and known some celebs and you see them around town here, but to answer your question, I'd say at this time, none...lol
It was a podcast cartoon that now is on cable (HBO? cant remember). Its not really a cartoon, more an animated discussion - hard to explain. Its based on him and 2 of his friends and ist pretty much just conversations based on one of his outrageously dorky friend. Look it up on internet - it really is funny - if you like that sort of stuff. Which I do
Oh I know his podcast that he does with Stephen Merchant and the guy with "a head like a fucking orange" (who I'm assuming is the outrageously dorky friend) where they talk about stuff... I wonder if it's just the same thing made into an animation...? I love Ricky Gervais, he never fails to crack me up. British version of The Office will always be king, and Extras is damn near comedy genious!!
I just checked out my itunes and yes, it is animated now.. So we're on the same page I sometimes listen to it on my ipod during long car journeys and the other passengers give me funny looks when I'm bent-over and crying with laughter over seemingly "nothing" lol
Yes thats it!!! I love Ricky to death! His laugh is hysterical and that friend is sooo clueless.. I just love that show!!! I have it on whne I sit in traffic
Boondocks Season 3, woot. I'm tired of CN's lineup, its the same trash because the own the rights too it. Most of this samurai, sword, futile Japan stuff just isn't for me. I liked Samurai Champloo but that's about it. The rest of it has been strange (Fooly Cooly) or covers some genre I'm not interested in. I'm more of a Cyber Punk (Ghost In A Shell, Cowboy Beebop, Bubblegum Crisis/Crash, etc) or Mecha (Gundam Zero, woot!) so I use, umm web sites to watch stuff (Anime Breaker). Family Guy I haven't watched in a while kinda stale now. American Dad is funny and what I have seen of the Cleveland Show is funny, I just have too many things to watch/listen too in the Que already that I really can't add something else. I've been watching some older stuff like Transformers Armada and Vandread.
Champloo was raw, and Fooly Cooly is hella funny. It's so weird, but I like it. Bebop was sick, too. Every try Gantz?
I hafta say of the cuff: Classic Looney Tunes (1948 - 1964) Classic Hanna-Barbera (1930's - 2001) Family Guy The Simpsons Beavis & Butt-Head The original Ren & Stimpy The original Eito-Man (8 Man) The original Tetsuwa'an-Atom (Astro Boy) The original Mach-A-Go-Go (Speed Racer) The original Spider-Man (1960's) The Paramount/Famous/Harvey cartoons (Casper, Baby Huey, Herman & Katnip, etc.) The Fleischer/Famous/KFS Popeye episodes Just my "A"-List, eh? Oh yeah, Fooly Cooly is funny, but its a bit too strange. I really do enjoy my Space Operas, Mecha and Post Modern Civilization (Cyber Punk) though.
I liked fooly cooly because of the alure of an older gal lol. Not to mention the sexual innuendos. It was fun to watch.
I notice the "older woman, younger boy(boy, especially in the case of FLCL)" is very common in anime and manga.
One from "FAMILY GUY" that you MUST see! Of course, all you sophisticated, erudite connissuers of *quality entertainment* have ALREADY seen this bit, I'm sure, yes? http://www.whitewomenblackmen.com/forum/showthread.php?p=334506#post334506 Without a doubt, one of the MOST HILARIOUS BITS of this STELLAR series... Rates right up there when Stewie...lookin' fer Brian to pay back his 50 dollars...proceeds to beat his ass twice. (The flame thrower bit was HILARIOUS!) 'Nuff Said!!!!
