Alright, it's not an absolute law of human physiology, but generally speaking there's a strong correlation between the width of a woman's hips and the opening of her pelvis.

Therefore a woman with 30 inch hips, as a rule, will have a smaller pelvis than a woman with 47" hips.

It's not by accident that men have been conditioned through hundreds of thousands of years of human evolution to view women with broad hips as being more 'fertile' and able to more easily give birth to children.:smt050:smt038

 

Perhaps generally speaking, very generally speaking, that may appear to be true. I do believe that was originally supposed to hold true, as hip width was supposed to correlate to child bearing ability. However according to an OBGYN, hip width is no longer an accurate predictor of pelvic size.

 

As Andreboda already alluded to your hip bones are connected to the pelvic bone. Wider set hips normally comes from a wider set pelvis. So yes ESPY you are correct but the correlation between wider hips and pelvis is very strong. The two traits that really sets humans apart from other species is our big brains and bipedal locomotion(walking upright on two legs).

On average black people run faster than any other group of people. On average men run faster than women. Aside from men having more muscle than women, a big part of that is the fact that men have a narrower pelvic bone that maximizes walking/running on two legs. The fact that black women have narrower hips, which probably is a result of a narrower pelvic bone probably plays a factor in why they are faster than other groups of women.

 

Could you point out the incorrect statements. I'm always looking for new knowledge. In another thread Chicity posted some links on a topic and I learned something new from her. So please point out what is incorrect.

That's not the case. There are plenty of us here that don't agree with the majority on certain issues and we don't get labeled as trolls, nor do we consider everyone who disagrees with us to be a troll. However as you must realize by now, we do get quite a few people who come here solely to cause trouble, and they often seem to work from the same script, so when someone includes similar statements in their posts it makes people suspicious.

As I've said I have formulated no opinion as to whether you are, or are not here to make trouble. Time will tell, it always does. However I will point out that the person to whom you replied has a pretty clear agenda IMO and it's not a good one. All you have to do is look at a few of that individual's posts and you see an ugly theme emerging. It's posters like that, that some people find objectionable, and they are the reason suspicion runs high at times.

No, Iggy, it's not that simple. The only reason people get pissed off at you is b/c you come off as an arrogant ass who doesn't show any respect to anybody. Then, in return, you expect everyone to bow down to your opinions like their Scripture or something.
