got the dumbass managers in trouble! Ha ha ha ha! My gm apologised to me, is gonna help me get more hours, and told me to take anything those retards say with a grain of salt because I'm awesome at my job and dumbass number one had no right to say anything to me without talking to him first (which he didn't).

He pretty much called him an uppity ass idiot. It was AWESOME

really pissed off today

madam had a hospital appointment today, went to pick her up and got told off by head tacher for not calling the office to let them know..... cos its not enough to put it in her home/school diary and tell the bus escort?

got into the consultants office and he asked where her leg splints were. the physio took them off her 6 weeks ago saying she felt they were holding her back and that she was speaking to ortho about it....... nope she didnt, he did not give permission for this and infact as shes been left without leg support shes deteriorated.

so now insted of just wearing splints in the daytime shes got to wear them in bed too, and how am i meant to keep them on her when shes in bed, well apart from using gaffer tape

That's good to hear Robina. I think our posts crossed paths, great minds and all that. I'm sorry you seem to continually run into far more than your share of obstacles. I will say again, your little Miss is blessed to have a Mum who doesn't give up. Unfortunately sometimes the only way to get people to do anything is to refuse to give up until they do. Fortunately tenacity is one of your many good qualities.

I was driving home from work today, after a fairly bad storm (lightning, thunder, rain, hail, wind) and I saw black smoke.

I go onto a street that takes me closer to home and the street is blocked off. There is a lot of black smoke billowing at the intersection. You can't see the lights, the train tracks, nothing. Turns out a resale shop was struck by lightning (it was a really old building) and apparently burned to the ground.

I got to see actual flames coming out! I took pictures and posted them on my Facebook. LOL.
