Did you miss the line where it says "The apparent differences are most likely due to the different body fat storage patterns in different population groups. For example, women of African descent tend to store their fat in their buttocks more than women of other groups"

I guess these exercises were only available to black women. That must be the reason for their more rounded butts. I guess now that white women have access to these booty enhancing techniques we should see them eclipse black women. The WW workout more than BW on average and the WW that do workout their booties we should expect them to get Serena asses right?

Chicity I don't know if you go to a gym on a regular basis but if you do could you please ask a trainer is it possible for a flat butt women to achieve a butt like Serena or any other out there with a big semi-circle butt. Again I only keep referring to Serena because she is the only celebrity that I know of that has a butt that has not been assisted by butt implants and/or injections.
Coco, Angel Lola, Beyonce, Nicki Minaji, and numerous other video girls/singers are highly questionable.

    1. If you don't have an ass to begin with you won't grow this huge round ass later on.

2.I don't understand why you wouldn't be able to cook for a black man. I guess they were referring to cooking traditional black soul food. I guess if you have never grown up cooking soul food that maybe somewhat of a challenge. But I think that has more to deal with if you are a good cooker or not. A good cooker should pick that up with no problem.

    3. I don't see why you would never understand him. But I guess they are talking about a white person understanding what it is like to be a minority in this country. If that is what they are referring to then I will agree. Its the same way a man can never fully understand what it like to be a woman in a patriarchal society.

Damn I've have never been told that I'm ignorant and lack communication skills. I've been told I'm too smart for my own good, but never ignorant. But why do you feel that way? That is something that I will try to correct if that is how you truly feel.

Poorly informed does not mean ignorant, at least that is not what I meant in this instance. You speak from what appears to be a very rigid point of view, and you generalize often. To me both are indicative of being poorly informed, as I have yet to find anything that is set in stone, or that applies to every single person in any given demographic.

Also on occasion you state your opinion and then later refine that further. Thus, my comment on communication skills. Though I will say that you do manage to argue without resorting to name calling, which I personally appreciate.

Well at least I'm not the only one that make huge generalizations. But I was waiting for you somebody to post a statement saying that. I guess stereotypes are true if you agree with them, if you don't, then that is when its considered "broad generalizations".

Actually we discussed nearly that exact comment at length in another thread a while back. I'm also not well informed on that particular subject, I don't know if BW cook for their men or not, and I tend to not point out something's a generalization unless I actually have personal knowledge to back it up.

Also, I'm pleased to see Karma posting anything since he hasn't been around here much lately and I think he brings great insight to the forum. I'm not likely to take exception to anything he says, as I know him better than I know you, and I adore his unique brand of humor.

Well poorly informed does mean to lack knowledge or not know, correct? Which is the definition of ignorance. I don't think I have ever said "all white women are" or "or all black women do this". I often say "on average" or "as a whole" because I don't want anyone to believe that I'm saying a particular group acts or is one way. I think everyone on here has made a statement that they had to refine at some point. I will admit what I say is not infallible and people will bring something to my attention that I missed previously.

Define it any way you like, really the only thing that matters to me is what it means to me. If you prefer to think I called you ignorant, fine by me. However, I say what I mean, if I thought you were ignorant I would have used that particular term.

When you see the broad diversity in humans, the features that different people and populations have been for selected for mainly two reasons. There is natural and then sexual selection. Natural selection chooses features or characteristics that will help an organisms better adapt to their environment. Example, Black people evolved to have darker skin because it provided better protection against the intense African sunlight. Sexual selection chooses features or characteristics purely for aesthetic reason and do not help the organisms to survive any better in their environment. Example, white people developing different eye and hair colors than the usual brown seen throughout humans. Blue eyes and blond hair did not make Europeans survive any better than brown eyes.

With that said, people often ask the question what is the purpose of life. The only purpose for an organism or species is to reproduce and maintain the survival of the species. We have an innate desire to seek out partners to reproduce. Women have wider set hips than men. This isn't sexual selection at play it is natural selection. Having wider set hips for women not only benefited the women but also the child. Wider set increased the survival rate for the woman and the child during labor. Across all human populations men seek out women with wide hips because it is a key sign that a woman will be more successful at childbirth.

"Flyingeek" you ask what does preference have to do with the reality of the women curves. Asian people on average have the largest heads of all groups of people. If Asian people have bigger heads wouldn't the women also need wider set hips to help pass their bigger head babies. When an Asian man is looking for that 0.6 waist-to-hip ratio he isn't just looking for wider hips for sexual reasons(he may think he is), but he is actually looking for a woman that will be more successful at giving birth to an Asian baby. Often a "preference" for a certain trait in a society will develop because it became crucial to the existence of that society.

Hate to tell you this Reggie, but it's not hip size that makes a difference in child birth, it's the width and shape of the pelvis. You can have wide set hips and a narrow pelvis, in which case you're going to have difficulty in child birth. I happen to know this for a fact. I heard all my life that I had child-bearing hips, but I had to have both my kids C-section because my pelvis wouldn't accomodate a child. So that whole 'wide hips make it easier to have children' thing is a complete myth.
