Man, I guess times have changed cause I would of gotten yelled at for getting Cs in high school lol. Definitely wouldnt be getting rewarded money for it haha.
Oh good ol' goodlove, vying for a career as a math teacher. I guess your pythagorean formula is C = A² + B², that's how you came up with 2 + 2 = 5. Your poor students! 'No child left behind' will come in handy for them, though. And you.
I'm sure that's because your parents know you can do better Russia. C is actually average, not above or below, just average. As such if I knew my children weren't truly capable of anything better than that, I wouldn't push them. However I know both my children to absolutely be capable of better, therefore I do expect them to do better than Cs. I think you have to be realistic in your expectations, pushing a child who simply isn't ever going to be a straight A student isn't productive or fair IMO. But if they're capable of straight As, then letting them off with Cs does them a disservice as well. You have to find that balance between encouraging and pushing too hard, and sometimes there's a very fine line separating the two, and it different for each kid. My daughter for instance is so driven from within that I actually work to remind her that a 4.0 isn't the Holy Grail and it would be okay if she got the occasional B, but she thinks that's wrist slashing time, hopefully she'll mellow as she gets older. My son on the other hand requires constant vigilance to keep him on track. It comes very easy to him, which makes him lazy, his philosophy is why work if I can get by without any effort. Different kids have different styles, you just have to adjust your approach accordingly. To compensate for following the thread derailment, as to the OP's original post, I don't think curvy has anything to do with it. Karma and BMJ made that point quite well, and I agree with them.
LOL. yeah for real. they gonna get left behind....waaayy assss behind. LOL:smt102 whats really funny . Im studying the gre rite now. LOL LOL. I can see ity now. Hey dad my teachers name is mr. goodlove.... dad's response " NOOOOOOO, I have to get that mofo fired. My childs gonna be a dumbass"
Goodlove, did you even need to "think" for that question? Come on kid, any man who passed grade TWO maths would answer that in "reflex" stop being a joke ,and answer this simple logical reasoning question (gre is all about logic). If you fail, i dont want to hear "maths",,,,"gre" or "masters degree in teaching" from you ever again Show us how you got ur answer
LOL @ this thread - If this is true, I better not get pregnant - my babies would get lost on their way out the birth-canal.
Its ridiculous. If it were true the US would have the highest test scores in the world with as many fat people we have here.
lol....I thought so, "masters degree", jou fokin gaat The only "master" degree you will ever obtain is when you master-bait bitch
lol come on madiba this is grade 9 shit. The equation is already given to you, so your only job, realy, is to plug in the numbers. 3000/ (2p+a) From teh question we know that a=10 and p=20 3000/ (2 (20)+ 10) = 60 catridges are sold in thousands ..60 x 1000 = 60 000 lol
LMAO come on, kid its a constant but if you want me to go in detail The function is given s(p) = 3000/ (2p +a). Any smart guy can already determine that a is the number given on hindsight. However calculating for a would result in a more detailed answer. so.. s * 2p+ s*a = 3000 a= (3000-s*2p)/ s .....plug in the numbers a= 10 didnt wanna bother with that. later
You the one who goes, go and show your working out, and you go and skip the most crucial part of the equation.:smt101
