    It's called either:

    Having Nothing Better To Do..

    ....or....

All The World Loves A Good Scapegoat.

Veering mostly towards the latter, IMHO.

Ya know I can dig pointing out the total hypocrisy of BW when it comes to IR (it's fun!) and this whole "Nightline" thing, etc. but bitterness and hanging on to shit is never a good look, especially on a man (men who complain too much = bitches, that's not me saying it, that's life). Somebody's got to be the one to just turn their back on the madness and move on, I choose to be that person. Your lifestyle is the message, not the things you say. In other words get your WW or AW and keep it moving. LOL

    My .02 anyway.

I agree to a pt but you can only take it for so long.

goodlove, I think that what karma is saying (he'll correct me if I'm wrong) is that after taking it for so long, it's time to move on.

Be angry. Be upset. Be mad at whomever you feel wronged you. But pass through all of that. Don't stay there. Those emotions are to be used (temporarily) as impetus to propel you forward.

If all that goodlove has said is true, then your advice is very kind to him but I don't think he'll be able to hear it yet. He's mourning his marriage and dealing with his anger towards his ex-wife. He's supposed to be bitter. And depressed. Divorces are hard as hell on Men, if watching my Dad go through it twice was any evidence, and divorcing someone who you loved who is now hurting you must be outrageously hard to deal with. His patience for anyone attacking him in real life, particularly women, is likely to be paper thin.

it is true in what you are saying about me dude. My patience is paper thin. you are very right.

there is an idiot (carl) saying man up you are mad because a woman ran over you.

people like that are what I called bitch-minded. BIM means that they listen to the media and think it is totally correct or what EVERYTHING that was told to them was true until you go thru it and found out differently. then you find the harsh truth.

divorce for men is just as tuff as it is for men. women / media dont talk about that stuff and make out men to be cave men.

they are quick to say men leave the kids and should not be primary parents because they are men. just because you are a woman doesnt qualify you as more mature and a better parent. it is a fallacy that is built in the media

One day after getting thru the court stuff and getting things like they should then I will start to date again but i will be very discerning about who I let get close.

Its not just the divorce but the evil doing behind it that upsets me most. why forge documents and use your child for evil shit . that is a low down deed. that hurts the child more than me.

That's not true. White nerds are thought of as endearing and women eventually come around to wanting them. Black nerds get absolutely no love.

Black Men are grossly underrepresented in "Geeky Dreamboats", but they are in there. Specifically:

    Mos Def
    Kenan Thompson
    Pharrell Williams
    Kanye West

Possibly more, I'm just skimming the table of contents on Amazon, and I don't know all the names.

So I think that while, once again, Black Men get tokenized as they are in every mainstream presentation of every niche, it's safe to say that Women that love geeks are not opposed to loving Black geeks. Certainly not any moreso than, say, Women who love action movie type guys.

How many girls did you know growing up were into the likes of Urkel Carlton or Bryant Gumbell?
    I'm just saying..

None of those guys are considered Nerds. Three of them are hip hop megastars and last time I checked musicians have an automatic cool factor. Especially Kayne like he said his swag is on a hundred thousand trillion.
I wouldn't consider Keenan a nerd but let's say he his no girls are swooning over fat Albert. Bad examples Chi. One of the things that sell a bm sexiness is our self assured confidence. I know we don't like generalizations on here but that's one thing I've noticed about bm from widely accepted heart throbs to the mailman. I could wrong and if I am I know someone will happily try to point it out lol

I didn't call them nerds, "Geeky dreamboats" did. And girls must be swooning over Keenan, cause he's in the book, and it's for swooning. Also, a few ladies here listed him in the oddly hot thread.

Anyhoo, my husband's entire circle of friends are Black Men who are profoundly geeky, and they all get girls okay. Admittedly, they are self assured and confident, but they can also carry on a 6-hour conversation about the comparative quality of theme music between different eras of Star Trek**, so it's hard to say they don't qualify as nerds.

    **of course, so can I.

They might not get the girls while growing up, but they always end up getting the best ones in the long run.

I think we're talking about two different kind of guys. I'm talking about the geeky guy who isn't self assured but still good at school work who is socially awkward and knows way too many battle star galactica facts. Picture big bang theory with black guys. I think you're talking about the quiet kid who did his work and went to Yale is now a doctor. Am I close?
