Introducing the newest member to our family....Snowflake!!! Our daughter finally (after many months of bargaining and pleading) wore down my wife and I and now she has a pony of her very own. We had a looong conversation that she is the one who has to be responsible for her pony, feeding, cleaning, training with Mommy ect. and of course she promised she would do it all, we shall see.....She has not stopped smiling or hopping around since we were the winning bid at auction. Smiles all around here, especially since we outbid the slaughterhouse for Snowflake. Leading him into the pasture first meeting with our other horses
Beautiful horses Loki, and congrats on outbidding the slaughterhouse! My grandfather used to rescue starved and mistreated horses and get them back to good health, I know it's a lot of work to care for them, but very rewarding to know you did a good thing and saved an animal. I hope your daughter keeps up her end of the bargain, she's looks like she's thrilled!
