Been a quite weekend, so I started loads of crazy threads...

 

What makes a name ghetto? All names are made up. From john to any other name you can think up of.

The only names I think are "ghetto," are names that are intentionally misspelled.
Also, selfish hipster parents who curse their children with names that are supposed to be quirky, but come off as sounding like the parents were mentally challenged or were having a stroke when they signed the birth certificate.

 

A colleague of mine used to teach a kid whose name was T-A....

and that's pronounced "Ta-dash-ah"

Well, considering the video is made by at least one Black American, and he is laughing at the names, whats wrong with other people finding it funny too...?

 

I dont know what makes a name ghetto.Maybe its because people who live in the ghetto tend to give children these names, more than others who dont.

 

Well you get your fair share of Silly white people calling there kids after inanimate objects or various other stupid shit names, I for one know of someone who called there Son "Fox" I mean WTF? and topped it off with Skye for there Daughter.

Or there is your typical archaic names, I know one woman whose 2 Daughters are named Edwina and Harriet which inspires a vision of a baby that drinks it's milk from a Royal Worcester Bottle, those are names that will quite simply not be ok at ur local Comprehensive.

Don't know about everybody else, but I'm not gonna bullshit and act like I don't know what a ghetto name is. The name itself may not be ghetto, but in our society, we know what kind of people are will be associated with certain names. Like we, for the most part, don't know what kind of people are associated with the name Billy-Bob, Jimbo, Cletus, Skeeter, Bubba-Ray, Junebug, or Dale-Bop(Ok, that's my friend's cousin's name, but it fits).

Who gives a shit? This ain't a big deal.
