Your thoughts on the new Season of Boondocks so far

There are still kids that don't know the n-word yet and enjoy watching cartoon network. I had this issue with my ex g/f's kids. Imagine if one of those kids comes up to you and says hey n-word how you doing while not knowing it is a word that is offensive. Some African americans may react unpleaseantly to it.

I'm not saying kids don't say the word but it doesn't help to give them even more access to insults.

 

Dude the show airs at midnight what child is up watching cartoons that late? And if they are it's a result of poor parenting and if the kid has bad parents learning the word nigga is the least of our worries.

 

a lot dude especially on saturday nights. The thing is the n word is the least of issues compared to BET.

 

The show airs on Sunday nights which is a school night so they shouldn't be up that late but I do agree BET is a bigger problem.

I must've slept on this a while back.

 

Lovin' the season. I was DYIN' off this week's episode.

Didn't expect to see Ruckus in this episode. When Ruckus came out and saw Riley and the fat kid fighting, and he said "oh, it's just two niggas killin' each other. Carry on", I was weak. My favorite episode is probably the Thugnificent falls off episode, and the dick-riding Obama episode. That shit was SO true.


And yeah, Ruckus is my favorite character......and the Freeman family.


Did anybody notice that the ending fight scene from this week's episode was similar to the movie "Juice"?

 

Exactly. Plus it's called ADULT swim. The TV rating are right there in the corner, and Adult Swim always makes sure to let people know that "the following program contains". It's up to the parents to get the off the TV in their house. Block the channel, cancel the cable, or something.

 

Thank you. Its called responsibility. I can't stand people who want there to be anything entertaining because some kid might see it. What about the adults?

YES it even had the song at the end that's on Juice. I love Juice. Good episode though.

 

Season 1 and 2 I enjoyed more so far but it's too early to pass final judgement.Need to see more episodes of season 3

 

Only saw a clip of it....was a big fan of the comic strip (which I STILL miss terribly)


Would like to have a Multi-Volume DVD set whenever something like that *does* come out.

Its ok this season. The stinkmeaner episode was fun though. Poor Bushido Brown.. I think he is more trying to get his message on issues this season than in previous seasons. I like the toned down comedy and more message side of this season.

That being said nothing will even beat the Uncle Ruckus Show episode or the "Stinkmeaner Strikes Back " from season 2

 

Last night's episode was automatically in the top-5 in my opinion.

My man McGruder is in a zone this season.

 

I only caught the last half, but that shit was funnier than a mufucka.
