No to mention your lack luster D on Ray Allen, he lit you guys up and Rondo just killed it in the 4th quarter with the second chance points and the steals.
Yeah, waay too many rebounds for Rondo towards the end of the game. He hustled harder than anyone else on the court. Aside from Rondo and Ray Allen, the Celtics didn't really do much. It'll be interesting to see how things play out Tue. and Thur. I can't wait. The Lakers better get it together, or else...
That's exactly how I saw it. Everybody else wasn't doing much of anything. Both teams were playing poorly. I also didn't like a few of those bullshit calls. This goes for both teams.
much agreed. it seems like now when the refs make one shitty call they feel the need to turn around and make another one to balance out the first crap they flubbed. it's like you already see it coming. ruins the flow of the game. hopefully the officiating will be a little better when they get to beantown.
I love how you Laker fans underestimate the Celtics. Ever think they've met their match? Yawl turned down the cockiness last night...
And yeah, if LA wins the championship you better believe I'm gonna be partying up in this joint til the sun comes up, and them I'm gonna do it again. If not, I'll concede and let you do your thing.
I've got a big fat "LA Lakers, STAND UP!!" for this site, if they win. During the three-peat era, my dad and I would go out on the balcony and scream "HOW BOUT THEM LAKERS!!!!"
Do ya thing Fellas and I'll do mine... I'm one woman army in this thread, but thank God offline, I have friends who root along with me against the Lakers....
lol @ these LA folks rooting for Boston. I couldn't imagine Laker fans getting much love in Boston, either.
Back in elementary, I was one of two Lakers fans at my school. I would shit on them Kings fans with knowledge. I know all about being the odd man out.
only in themselves. i still don't think the celtics took it to the lakers in game 2, just the game plan was off. and fools (artest, odom, third string guards) weren't hitting any shots. i give celtics credit for maintaining their zone. even when they are having a bad game they keep fighting through, they never give up in believing they can win. unfortunately i think the younger players on the lakers squad don't have this mentality, and if they are not crushing teams they pretty much start walking around with their heads down. game 3 phil comes with a tighter set of plays. kobe stays focused and goes for 40 with gasol right behind him for a double-double w/ 25+ points. odom will be in double figures. lakers win by at least a dozen.
