It's fun being sneaky!

I'm going shopping with my Pops today. I lied to him and told him we're going to get something for my mother. My mother chimes in and asks can we pick up something she wants. I told my pops to tell her we're going to get him a Fathers Day gift. She then tells me to pick up what we talked about yesterday.

Basically, Pops will get his gift unknowingly and so will Mama Dukes...lol

We were supposed to meet at a really nice sports bar by my apartment. But because the Blackhawks were having one of their play-off games, the place was too packed to even find parking. So I had to come up with something quickly, because he lives an hour away, so he doesn't know the area.

We ended up at a dive bar. LOL. But it was fun. We drank some, talked, ate some crappy bar food.

We will probably go on another date, but I'm not sure that I'm attracted to him enough though.

Yesterday, I was down in the dumps. I don't think I'm over the fireman yet. Wait, I KNOW I'm not over what the fireman did to me. Plus, the other things going on in my life, made me not feel like doing a damn thing. A friend of mine, who is also going through some tough times, was down in the dumps, too. So we decided to be down in the dumps together. LOL.

We went to the nice sports bar yesterday, did a shot, drank some beer and played darts for a few hours. Then we left and tried to get me a new phone. But I found out that I don't have a credit at Verizon, so the phone that I want would cost me $200. BAH. So, no new phone. Then we ended up going back to his apartment, drinking some more and watching The Hangover before we both passed out. LOL.

It was fun, because if we'd separated, we'd have just done nothing in our respective apartments. So we had some fun together. And today, even though I slept for maybe 4 hours on a couch, I'm feeling better about my current circumstances in life. :smt023
