Chi has made some very well reasoned, fact based, logical statements, backed up by research, not opinion. If you don't agree, simply just agree to disagree on this topic. As I said before, of course there are very real challenges in the Black community, just like ANY community. Yet it is always BM who are held up as the "problem" in any widespread debate of social ills. When was the last time you saw, all in a space of a few weeks, major news networks (TV), and major media outlets (newspaper and web) devote entire shows, articles, discussion panels on the shortage of good WM, or BW or any other group? Every so often the same specious stats are trotted out and rehashed to drag BM through the mud, when there could easily be such shows devoted to any other ethnic group and gender.

The Coley study applied to African Americans right? Well... Madiba is in the UK, the articles he cited are British. There is a problem with absent fathers in the black UK community. I don't think you'll meet anyone who will debate that so the Coley study is kinda moot. I've never heard of it tbh and a Google search didn't come up with it so it can't be that great of a study but regardless, this "study" applied to AFRICAN AMERICANS. This website is not just in the USA as he pointed out. Seriously... wow. Can you Americans just remember for one second there are other places in the world besides the USA?
