I can co-sign this, I do a fair amount of public speaking at financial seminars and classes. I always have my wedding ring on and usually find a way to mention my wife during my speeches. Perhaps I live in an ivory tower to some extent because I am always AMAZED at the brazen flirting, and in some cases direct invitations I have received over the years. It can lead to some very uncomfortable situations when you are trying to be nice as their instructor/speaker yet firm in rejecting their advances...

So vain, selfish women will go after someone else's husband... and this is new information? I think not. People like that feel entitled to whatever their little hearts desire, so if they see a man they want, and he happens to be married of course they're going to go after him. It's the 'I want it, I should have it, after all I deserve to be happy' mentality.

Personally if they're married I consider them off limits, even if they're in an open-relationship. But I have no illusion that everyone thinks like that. I recently had a similar discussion with some women friends and the overwhelming consensus was if he isn't married, he's fair game, if he is married he's off limits completely. So women pursuing another woman's boyfriend doesn't surprise me in the least, but why someone feels it appropriate to aggressively pursue a married man, like what Loki described, is foreign to me. I just view that as completely inappropriate.

disclaimer: loki is in a class ALL by himself...he has a very lucky wife

i have never witnessed loki flirting on this forum...he is very clear about where he draws the line...others not so much

lippy finds the article amusing...having married men hit on me...having men with girlfriends hit on me...nothing new people...but ofcourse it is always the females fault:smt018 right you tell yourself that...i find that men for the most part think with their dicks...always looking for new pussy...tired of the old pussy he has at home or would just like to expand his menu...let's not get it twisted here...it takes two to tango and what a man wants more than anything is to be desired...he wants to know if he has a chance...

attached men for the most part like to hide the status of their married life or relationship life...many times lying about how good or bad it is hoping to reel in another woman...

personally i think the appeal of self sufficient women is not really needing them...the more independent the harder they try to get at you...

    2 sides to every story:smt023

I wish more men were as upstanding as you...

I agree with that. Some married men are shady and don't need to be married if they want some outside fun....

Those women, I mean bitches, need to go find a single man. I hope karma bites them in the ass.

i've always agreed with that. marriage is to be taken seriously, so why do it if you're gonna run around and act "doggish".

I don't get it either. I guess it's about wanting your cake and eating too and also, wanting to know you have some stability at home....smh

Never understood that quote. Why would you want to have your cake and not eat it. Then why have cake?

Yep, no surprise. (Although not all us vain and selfish women are like that! :p)

The thing of it is, if a married man will cheat on his wife, you think he has any compunction about cheating on you if you ever got together, or sweats giving you the clap if you're just having a fling? A man with little discretion at one time doesn't turn that on and off like a light switch.

Women who chase married men (in my humble, limited experience) have no self-esteem. If he rejects her, she has the perfect excuse. If she gets him, she gives herself ample room to dub herself a real prize: Even married men want her! I don't have a hell of a lot of respect for these sleazy bitches, though everyone makes mistakes. The hunters? Not so much.
