I had to postpone my date that was tonight. We'll be going out on Friday night instead.

But today my car hit 100,000 miles. Fun times! I'm waiting for it to break down any day now.

People say cars can last way past 100,000 miles, but they haven't driven my car yet. LOL.

 

my honda is 10 years old and has 102,000 miles on it...i just put three new belts on it that the brakes plus guy said amazingly were original...not too bad at 30.00 a piece...the compressor another story...i keep hearing that i need a new timing belt too @100,000 marker...besides these recent repairs...10 years: 1 battery, 2 sets of tires, brake pads/rotors and regular oil changes...once this car is all fixed up it will be my son's first car and lippy gets a new one:smt003

That's because you have a Honda. I have a Nissan. It's 6 years old and is in worse condition than most 10+ year old cars. LOL.

I bought it used and it's been trouble ever since. It would take too long for me to list all of the things I've had to replace on the car and then replace again. I've never had so much trouble with one car. It's cursed. LOL.

Probably a good idea, though it could just be my jalopy that sucks. I like to say that it was built on a Saturday by workers who stayed up all night Friday night drinking. LOL.

Lucky you!! My car is a 2004 and probably acts more like a car that has 200,000 miles on it, than a car that has 100,000 miles on it.

Today at a physiotherapy session (I'm there because I hurt my back at work last Sunday) my physiotherapist and I were discussing things that could have contributed to my back problems. He then brought up my "ghetto booty"....yes, i did indeed hear him right...my white, 50ish year old physiotherapist called my ass a "ghetto booty" WTF?!?!?!?
