To tell it true...it comes to almost ANY & EVERY aspect of discussion...

    Kinda like:

"If only I could get my hands on you for sayin' that..."

"Yeah, but ya CAN'T...*CAN* ya? HAW-HAW!"

I think it sometimes verges more on the order of what is called 'flaming'..

It's killed my level of activeness.

It didn't kill music in my opinion. The people who chose to make shitty music big killed it. But I like hearing a sick ass Westcoast G-Funk beat posted up on Youtube, and come to find out that it's some 18 year old in his bedroom in eastern Europe.

It hasn't destroyed me as of yet. I use internet to streaming all my favorite shows from Japan. It's so good thus far, because Internet TV is coming, I'm very excited.

The internet is damaging a few industries such as the newspaper and porn industries. People are getting free news versus paying for a high price paper subscription. I'm guilty of it myself except I pay for my electronic subscriptions. Its more convenient. The internet has definitely damaged music and movie sales.

Naaa you're beautiful and your smile is cute! I am self conscious about smiling too! I have squinty eyes and you have to have them to understand how squinty they go when you do a big ass smile. Then if I try to open them I look like a creep. Keep posting pics!

I agree, unfortunately. Good post you've made. I also believe that Television is another reason of why real-life interaction goes down a bit. Too many Americans watch too much TV throughout the day or listen to talk radio.

Correct. The damage is referred to as "piracy".

I disagree. Television has been around for well over half a century. Whilst I was growing up, neighbors knew each other, we did things together, kids played outside, people stopped to help one another, etc.

In the few short years that the internet has been around, our communications and interactions with fellow humans have changed mostly for the worse, in my opinion.

The internet is a double-edged sword. There are some convenient gains, as well as obvious losses, which can be beneficial for the consumer, but difficult for business since there's no control over what and what. Thanks to the internet, every bit of access is as simple as a click on the mouse.

    - Want to shop for goods? Online stores.
    - Want to watch movies and not have to pay to see them? Internet and torrent files.
    - Want to listen to music and transfer them to your phone? Music sharing sites.
    - Want to find romance? Forums and chat rooms

    And so on...and so on...

However, I can assure you that thanks for chat rooms and forums, we have lost a sense of social interaction. This is one area that cannot be disputed.

Certainly, we can give thanks to the likes of social media to keep all of us in contact, but people this generation are more likely not being able to express themselves well outside the computer and this will pose even greater troubles. Awkward behavior would be heavy on our lives. Believe me, I'm a pretty good example of that.

Am I to say that the internet is for the worse? That's up to the individual and how much time they invest in it and overall perception. I personally believe that as long as you can keep yourself afloat and make use of the internet for what's convenient then it's not as bad.

Yeah, I guess you're right there. I think it's more-so what's on the Internet and not the TV or the Newspaper. Do you think the government should regulate it?
