Point well made. I think the beef is this suppose to be an appreciation thread and they don't like it when the thread goes off course even though every thread on here goes off course but they want the freedom to love big women in peace. Even though I agree with you about the double standard part.

 

But there's a double standard on this side too. Like Lippy said, no one is dissing thin chicks. Only when it comes to girls with meat on their bones - then the insults come flying out tenfold.

I mean we all have our preferences that we're attracted to, but in regards to what you just said, everyone wants to be able to appreciate in peace.

 

And that's why I went silent love. No willing to burn bridges over one thread. After a little introspection I think it bugs me a little because this is the stereotype about bm dating ww that urkes me. That we just go after big women, the same big women who are considered rejects else where but like I said that's my issue. So carry on and have fun guys.

 

Everyone has their own preferences as we can see and when it isn't the norm, people are either not comfortable with it, they attack or they don't say shit and have a "to each his/her own" attitude about it (which I think is the best way to be personally).

I don't like that stereotype either, but there are dudes who appreciate a bigger woman.

 

I don't think anyone is arguing about the health factors, cause that's just common sense, but a lot of the women in this thread are just meatier, not necessarily fat slobs. There might have been some obese ones thrown in the mix too, but the overall thread is focusing on the bodies that are that of plus size models and around those sizes.

There's a lot of pressure on women and our bodies. Men don't have the same issues. A lot of men can sit there and be fat and happy and no one gives a shit and the man himself doesn't either. Let that be a woman. Not the same thing. I also think it's a lot easier for men to lose weight than it is for women. That's another topic for another day.

 

By the way, not every dude on this forum is a chiseled model body type and who ever has posted their pic, all the women have given them props. NO WOMAN has ever dissed a dude on here. Can't say that for the men.

These are not celebs, athletes or models, but our everyday posters.

Men are more visual, women are visual and mental, but more mental than anything else.

I have dated men of all sizes, and I prefer men with a little meat on their bones... even though I dated a man who was 150lbs soaking wet for a little while. Too bad he was such a jerk. lol

Anyway... as beautiful as many of the men posting their pics are to me, skinny muscular men don't do quite as much as bigger men with muscle. I just like big guys, which may have something to do with the fact that I'm not a beanpole, but whatever. It works for me. You all do what works for you...but don't come in here friggin' lecturing about obesity. You don't know each person's situation, and to come in here getting on your soapbox about how it's unhealthy and whatever is just insensitive and ridiculous. You put people like me and suprchic off in the sidelines, nervous to show ourselves, simply because of some of the attitudes.

The only pic I saw was IB making fun of the guy from D12. So apparently girls are just as superficial. I'm just saying.....

I think this goes for both men and women, a lot of people like to talk about how it's all down to personality but lets be honest, it's not. Personality is more important than looks in my opinion but attraction has to be there, otherwise you can't build a sexual relationship which is just as important as an emotional connection in a romantic relationship.
