Is someone racist if they are ashamed/opposed to a black person being smarter?

What do you all think about this? A non black person who claims to not be racist and has black friends, but feels ashamed(and in general doesn't like) when a black person repeatedly does better than them on exams/etc, or is just clearly more intelligent. The key is that this person doesn't feel these same negative feelings when it's an Asian or a white, and only when it's a black person (so it has nothing to do with them being an overachiever and just wanting to be better than everyone academically).

Have you ever experienced something like this (black men), or are you guilty of feeling like this, despite being attracted to black men (white women)?

Haha, do you live under a rock? No one is gonna admit they feel that way on this site. Feeling like that is clearly racist.

From my personal experience, I've experienced this more from the "educated sista" than most non-blacks. Most ww I've ran into admires a smart man.

I cannot and will not date a man of below average intelligence. He has to be better than that. I'm a smart, relatively cultured, bright woman, and I demand the same or better. I'd really rather be alone than with someone who's dull.

And yes, it is racism to hate to see someone excel because of their race.

    Agreed, m8...

However, there *was* one exception to the rule..

The fact that *she* was a fat, overaged (not to mention uneducated and illiterate), crusty Venezuelan PIG is beside the point...

But you *are* right on DEAD SPOT ON POINT about the "Educated Sista" bit, m8...

One more sad aspect of life I am *forced* to acknowledge.

    hahahahaha thats funny.

Picture this: Im studying at the library and a group of white/asian/whatever walk passed me and give me this "whats-this-thug-doing-here" look. I see this all the time, so i try to piss them off, not through “intelligence” but by acting like a complete, dare i say it "nigger".
I start rapping out loud, and using ebonics, whilst hollering at girls walking by "hoe holla!!!". Suddenly. they start laughing and most of them feel relieved that im not there to study after all (my eyes rolling). They start laughing with me.

So I walk up to their table, and they are studying classical physics. The leader of the group (white kid) asks "what does the sun add to the earth in terms of mass"

Kid #1 : Well my geology text book indicates that (interrupted by kid#2)

Kid #2: there should be an event, similar to when photons create electrons and positrons. Hwever for that to occur, photons have to be in possession of energy relatively high enough to take the mass of both particles. The only photons in possession of that kind of energy are within gamma rays range and very few solar gamma rays percolate to the surface of the earth there….( I interrupt him)

Me: Actually kid, using the earths rotation orbit in terms of length(unit), the suns radiation disperses spherically with an area of 4[pi]u squared, whilst the earth itself "captures" merely a area of [pi]r squared, with r equaling to (E-4u)/2

Therfire the earths area of reception equals to [pi](0.5x 10 E-4)u)^2= [pi]0.25*(E-8U^2)

    And, the total fraction is:
    f = (area of earth)/(spherical area)
    (( 0.25 E -8)/4 = 6.25 E-10)

    Then I walk off

So yes, its racist to think blacks shoulnt excell, which is clearly the case here.

Yes, because the disdain is based on race. Simple as that.

Your scenario only works , if that person is a racist or sexist or however he wants to interpret himself. If I look down at someone else and loose afterwards it´s ashaming, no doubt..If you define a black person as less intelligent and that person overtakes you, what do you want to say ? Some try to play over that situation and to maintain that the other person had advantages or cheated. But you know, that´s the strategy of loosers and btw, all know that.

And something else I want to say, if you feel the need to humble someone, no matter of race, gender or nationality, you only try to hide your own weakness. If you humble someone you can make yourself feel more valuable, as you really do. You manipulate the balance- in your own mind.

Yeah, but pi is an infinite number, 3.14159......, a lot of times in those equations, if you don't take the number far enough past the decimal point, the equation doesn't amount to anything.

Two people can use the same equation, coming out with totally different results depending on the number they used for pi.
