Thanks xoxo, I'm glad you asked. I'm a fan of actress Dorothy Dandridge who played the title role Tamango.

yes if you are female and dont see it then you wont. i dont know where you live but next time, go and stand on a street corner or cafe and watch for a while. black women here in philly wont even meet your eyes and they wont smile and are not friendly to approach.

approachable means that you smile, say hello when passing, esp. when blacks pass one another. when you are on a subway train or bus talk or when sitting next to another black person be open to talk by smiling and saying hello.

it might be different where you are but i experienced it in the northeast, in the south and out west.

PCism always leads to that crap !!

What part of "WhiteWomenBlackMen" are you not getting? We aren't here for your "curiosity" nor to answer your stupid questions. We are not a sociological experiment. But this isn't about that, is it? It's more about your ego that some of these black men may find some white women better, point blank. If you're with a white man yourself, then what do you care what we black men or even white women do? You obviously don't have eyes for us anyway so get with your chivalrous white knight and keep it moving.

If she redirects the question to herself, she has all the answers to her "experiment" (premise and conclusion).

I dont get what you wrote.
I mean, its one thing to be approachable and meet w your eye, smile etc and be more open, I get that But you went one step further:

Talking/smiling just because you have the same skin color in common, like you seem to wanna happen? Meh.
I dont smile to any white man sitting next to me just because he is white.

If I dont feel you, I dont feel you, why should I talk to you or smile to you just because I have the same skincolor as you?

When I mention embracing our differences, I didn't just mean physical ones.

So, have you had the chance or taken the time to ask yourself what it is that you like about wm since you said you're dating one? You could use your own answer for your "research".

Look I'm not holding a gun to your head :smt071, I told you why I am here and anyone who don't want to speak don't have to. As for my ego, it's just fine because I can date either but I a dating a white guy so it sounds more like you are the one with the bruised ego.

It doesn't make sense using my own personal reason to answer why you a black man prefer white women or visa versa because I am neither a black man or white woman.

You got me there, my bad, though you're trying to get all technical about it. Misread the thread. You know damn well that it would be the same reason if the question was "What U like About BW or Wm Than Same Race".

P.S. Just as an extra, I have a feeling you're one of those manly woman that could pass as black man; Kansas Chief linebacker comes to mind.

^That was just totally unnecessary. Just my way of saying 'you don't belong here, honey'.

just a little advice from a person who does academic research, you are not suppose to be apart of the the process other than asking the questions. when you assert yourself into the equation the data gets flawed.

if you want to know what BM are interested in WW for then you must listen and not interject.

So if the white man you have is so fantastic, why are you even bothered with what black men do??? White men are good natured, couteous, romantic, sincere, hard working, generous, chivalrous, etc., etc. sounds like you like those kind of soft, prissy men.

Most people judge me on my outer appearance. I fit the mold of an urban, inner city black male. I'm 6'5", weigh 225 lbs, dark skin, bald head, goatee. I was raised in Detroit but live in Detroit and Chicago. I am comfortable walking the streets in both cities and when some street person gives me an intimidating stare, I stare back, to let him know I'm not the one.

Because of my size, I dwarf most of the people I meet. To many people that can be intimidating even though I don't mean it to be. Most people make their assumptions about me based on THEIR idea of how I am, being this big, black man from Detroit.

Certain white women, for some reason, can read me very well. They can be very intuitive, can pretty much tell what I'm about before they even meet me. One of the reasons I get along with them well is because they don't judge me from the exterior alone.

There's a poster on this board, Christine. Even though I've never met her and she lives on the other side of the world, she can be very intuitive on how I think. Can read my mind sometimes and post exactly what I was thinking.

I run into white women like her a lot.
