My mom couldn't hide shit from me. I would always find it. She took my video games away during the school years, back in middle school, but I found it under her bed. When I heard the garage open, I would turn it off, wrap it up, and put it back under her bed.

Just realized that I let my driver's license expire at the end of last month! :shock: Fortunately I figured it out before 30 days has passed so I don't have to drive and take the written test to renew it. But I'm not looking forward to getting my pic taken for it, it always turns out looking like a serial killer's mug shot. I think they should let us provide our own pics, at least then I'm not stuck with something too crappy for 4 years.

so agree...!!! i've been having major issues with getting my passport. long story short, i'm traveling in my maiden name as that is the name i go by now. the post office will not accept my birth certificate, marriage certificate, divorce papers, credit card and bills with my maiden name and address as proof that i am who i say i am...i'm supposed to have photo id...which i have in my married name in the form of my current austalian and british passports. they turned me down for the 4th time friday morning and had me in tears of sheer frustration & anger....just couldn't vocalise my feelings...!!! i was also told that my second ugly passport photo (first was too far away) couldn't be used because the top of my head was cut off...just had my third passport photo taken and i must say it's the worst of the bunch because i'd just finished an hour long session at the gym, so of course it's the one that will be approved...!!! i go in again on wednesday for my 5th appointment & have been assured that it will be my last...unbelievable...!!!

oh and my cat is standing at the screen door meowing because he's caught a mouse which i'll find the bottom half of in say an hour...!!!

right...vent over...!!!

 

Aww, sorry you're having such a hard time Tarshi. I think they've gotten really picky about proof of identity in the past few years, and though I understand the reasons why, it's still a pain in the ass. You'd think they could appreciate what a holy hell of a mess it is to have to change your name as an adult anyway. I have to do that for me and both kids as soon as everything is legally final in a few months, and while I'm looking forward to losing the Ex's name, holy cow there's a lot to change. I hope you get your passport on the next try. If they turn you down, we'll just have to smuggle you out!

:smt043 In Colorado you can just keep using your old photo and renew by mail if you want. When the photo was bad the previous time who wants to keep reusing it. I always retake and think the odds have to even out that a good one will come up. Hasn't happened so far though.

I been very busy this past few days and i spend very little time online, and when i do, usually surf the net a little and go... don't feel like posting much.

Also i am a little deaf lol i don't know but i can not hear from one ear hope this will go soon it is very annoy, especially when you are on the TV...
if this does not get fixed until the evening i will be going to the chemist
