We watched it tonight after our Mom's Day celebration. It was HILARIOUS!! I loved the MacGruber skits and that Digital Short! :smt081
I agree with you. If I'm home, I'll turn it on and see if the opening skit is funny. If it is, I'll stay through the first skit after the monologue. If that skit sucks, I know that the rest of the show is going to suck, so I turn it off.
Though I *do* concuer with ya, m8 (more on that later)...I *did* wanna see the Betty White *and* the Gabourey Siddibie episodes of SNL, I had other committments..... That said, although there *are* flashes of brilliance in all subsequent incarnations, for *my* money, the *best* years were the 70's Golden Age...from whence the ORIGINAL stars came from (Belushi, Chase, Radner, Murray, Curtin, Morris, Newman, Aykroyd).. As for the rest? Whilst it *might* not be "Saturday Night DEAD" yet...though it *did* come pretty damned close a couple of decades back..I've not gotten into the current model(s) all that heavy.. Though I've *yet* to totally say 'A Pox On It'.. OpinionsCartoonStudios@Yahoo.Co.UK
