confidence- just a word???

Do you have the capability to trust some one with your life? Do you have some one you can just close your eyes and you know, you will be safe?

Do you think it is stupid to think or to wish to find some one like that?

I am thinking a lot of times about that. As soon as I have that feeling, that confidence, I know I arrived my home.

 

No, I think a lot of people wish for that Christine. Someone whose motives they don't have to analyze, someone with whom they can just be themselves. I know not everyone finds that, and honestly I think for some people it's just not in the cards for them to find that. To me what you speak of is strength in the non-physical sense, rather than confidence, and it's a quality that some people possess in greater degrees than others. For some of those people there will never be someone stronger than them, and knowing that, it would be impossible to truly place all their trust in another person.

 

Honestly, I love that feeling.. I found it once and I am sure I will find it again. So much people trust me, because they know, I would rather "sleep under the bridge" (as we say in Europe) than to disappoint them. I know that many people are outside, who are able to fulfill that expectation

 

You're a lucky woman Christine. I am sure it's a lovely feeling to have, and I hope you find it again.

 

No Espy- I am not lucky in that sense. It´s not something that comes to you as a jackpot.. I am convinced that as soon as you have a good feeling and you let the person know what and how you feel, many are very endavor not to disappoint you.

What I want to say is that whoever wishes to feel like that is able to live it!!!

 

I don't think it's common, but I don't think it's stupid.
