So there *are* threads devoted to Hip-Hop & Rock...with others to follow fer sure..

So let Yours Truly keep the ball rolling, as the case may be..

What's YOUR fave Classical Composer and/or fave Composition/Symphony/Overture..

Even what conductor and/or orchestra ya dig the MOST..

ONE of my ALL-TIME UBER-MEGA-ULTRA RAVE-FAVES (An' I'm sure it's YOURS, too..) The WILLIAM TELL Overture, composed by GIOVANNI ROSSINI:

Personally MY preference is a 1991 issue on DUETSCHE GRAMMOPHON, that features CLAUDIO ABBADDO and The CHAMBER ORCHESTRA Of EUROPE , but this'n's spiffy, too!

And you can skip the LONE RANGER jokes, by the way; I've heard it all BEFORE!

And now, over to you, Compadres, the ball's in YOUR court now...............

AnMD too funny on Wm. Tell Overture. My dad used to put on classical music for my sister and I to listen to as we fell asleep. ind of our get culture time compliments of him. We bascially laid there and talked not really paying attention til the theme to The Lone Ranger came on then we'd perk up. :p

There are a number I like will post one now and come back later.

This thread has been around for almost a week and it's still on the first page (maybe second with this post). :smt069

It's quite apparent that people don't like classical music as much as other types. LOL!
