    Yep, THAT Riverdale...

The fiefdom of one ARCHIE ANDREWS and all his pals, JUGHEAD JONES, BETTY COOPER, VERONICA LODGE, REGGIE MANTLE and all the rest..

And Ol' Red's romantic interest? None other than VALERIE SMITH of JOSIE & The PUSSYCATS.

Needless to say, I'VE put in MY advance order at my local comics emporium.

And I hope that YOU shall do likewise...

As for this forthcoming groundbreaking milestone ish..it's due in early May.

    Stay TOONED!

    Y'know.....

I came so VERY close to landing a job with Archie Comics in Early 2007. I'd E-Mailed my resume, and they said "YES"..

And I *WOULD* have, too....until I found that I was going to have to SERIOUSLY consider a permanent Stateside relocation. Something that I *WON'T* do. And whilst I am not QUITE like The Much Regretted Stanley Kubrick (An expatriate from Brooklyn, renowned for "2001: A Space Odyssey", "Full Metal Jacket", "A Clockwork Orange", & "Doctor Strangelove" amongst others, who lived & worked in England and other parts of the world outside of The United States until he died in 1999) who NEVER returned Stateside -- even to pick up his Oscars & what-not from Hollywood -- I have NO intentions of pulling up anchor from London....afther all, I *do* have my filmworks studio here...and a more open-minded Britain (as well as Europe) *is* where ALL of my ideas & concepts HAVE caught fire and got the most positive responses. (More on THAT bit another time..)

In retrospect, it WAS the right thing to do, obviously...

    And now, considering THIS controversy:

I am VERY confident in the knowledge that....

    Damned RIGHT it was!

    'Nuff Said!!!!
