I call myself (and this is solely my opinion) a modern traditional woman. I come from a traditional family too, yet I'm modern in a lot of other ways. I think people (men more so) have seen the negative connotation or the end result of what the title "provider" has turned into. They get the short end of the stick and living in LA, you see how divorces are in favor of the women. I would be scared to marry too (pre-nups are always nice in this situation). I too would love to be able to be a stay-at-home mom and raise my children knowing that theres a paycheck coming in for our family, but when you have some women who chase men in hopes of landing a lifetime income for birthing babies and sitting at home pampering yourself while the man has worked hard his whole life while you reap the benefits of HIS paycheck, this makes women who say this - look bad. I can see why some men would be jaded. As we all know, there is a big difference between a gold digger and a woman wanting a man to provide for his family. With that said, it's like what are you before having the man be the sole provider bringing to the table?

My uncle is married to black woman. My brother has also dated black women. I'm fortunate to come from a family who is accepting of people for who they are. Besides, I've been attracted black men for a long time, I think they're over it by now, lol. They just want to see me happy......and married.
