In the Jill Scott topic, I postulated that insecure Black women would not only wince at BM with White women, but also Black men with lightskin/mixed women?

Sad if that was true. Such low self esteem from BW over light skined women.

 

Oh, I'm not saying BW have said anything. I haven't even read the comments at MTO. It's another bait thread at MTO just like they do with BM/WW, just wondering if some of the same BW who wince at BM/WW also wince at BM with lightskin women?

 

You know they do...because in their thinking, light = damn near white.

 

Only white boys like Robin Thicke can get away with liking light-skinned BW.

Because it's their privilege. Black men are supposed to have the scraps because its politically correct. That's what the academic experts and psychologists think, because it boosts BW self esteem.

Nothing wrong with it, but to have three in the same picture like that who are also famous celebs is unique.

Man some of ya'll are going way too far. No, black men doesnt get
any flack for dating brownskinned black women. If they are darkskinned
they are going to talk about how ugly they are. If they a fine darkskinned
woman they are going to give her back handed compliment saying

"Oh she's pretty for a darkskinned person"

But yeah white men, latino men, asian men, everybody except black men
can date the whole spectrum without a problem. Black folks need to look
see that WE hold our standards too fuckin HIGH!!! And its turning into shallowness. We are human before we are black.

I've never seen that commercial.

It doesn't even look like something they would broadcast on the air.

What channels are you watching???

 

I watch mostly cable channels. I have a variety of channels I watch. It comes on once in a blue moon, usually late at night.

 

Their last commercial I saw, had a BM and WW, but I don't see it on YouTube.

 

Did they actually spell out "skinneded"? FAIL.
