You, my dear, are so full in love! Good thing that I've been to Florida before, I'm sure that sunshine state has changed a lot since I left there from my previous vacation in its third year of '90's, I believe. Tell me, my dear! How much has your state change so far??
I think I may still have been in diapers then! :smt081 It all depends on what part you visited. Central FL/Rural Areas are chaning slowly, def not at the rate the big cities are. My area has expanded greatly in the past few years.
lol. that's funny. i was @ ft myers beach last november. stayed at the Casa Playa. the joint with the pineapple painted on the side.
nice weather. the gulf coast is relaxing. the wkend i was there (or i hope it was just that wkend. lol) was a bit too quiet for my taste. i thought the beach scene was a lil corny. but that's a lot of beach areas, really. (so i am not dissin) i copped a rental and drove alligator alley then down to south beach. yea, that took care of the quiet zone. but ft myers was chill. some nice pockets of coolness in that area. i gotta admit tho, out of the gulf coast, i really like st. pete. not too sure why, but i liked kickin it around there.
It def is quiet. But, in-town, and in the Cape we usually have something going on. All depends on what area you are in and when you come. Usually some concerts or events going on that time of year since that's about the time the snow-birds start heading down. I really wished Ricochet hadn't closed as they had a concert happening constantly. I think the last one we had there was Juvinile and a few other acts just can't remember who. But they had to shut down, as the plaza owner went WAY up on rent and they couldn't afford it anymore. Just had Coolio and Tone Loc in the Cape a month or two ago. Recently had a big Reggae festival too. Got the Miami Hurricanes Baseball team coming to Hammond Stadium this month. Comedy Club is pretty cool too. Sometimes they have big acts come through. Barbara B Mann Hall always has something. Though I rarely go, not really my taste. If you ever head down this way again, let me know. I'll let you know whats happening.
juvie... nice. still one of the better south punchline rappers. yea, next time i'm round the way i'mma shout ya out. see where it poppin in da fort. i'll be in jax next tho, next month. what/who you know good up thurr?
I loved it. Gonna miss that place now. =[ I don't know much about Jax. Haven't been there since I was a tot. But I can check it out and I'll let you know if I find anything.
yea, i've been there like 4 times... still tryin to figure the place out. it's tough cause normally when i go, i am going to see family. so i would have to go out on the dolo. went once for work and partied with the co-owner of the company i was training... that turned out pretty funny. dude was wasted the next day at the office sayin i talked him into partying all night. lol yea right...
Nope. I like guys that in shape most of the time BUT I do have a bit of a sly thing for Project Pat :smt017 And a few of my friends think that M'a Nonu is chubsy but I disagree, I think he's like the male equivelant of 'thick' haha
Thank God for men like you!! rayer: I resent that statement. I'm a dress size 14-16. While I've always been confident in the person that I am...I have struggled with my physical appearance - mainly b/c I'm not a size 2. I'm not gonna hate on you Andrae, b/c you've give me much love, but it's b/c of the statement above that you made and many statements like it [from other men] that I was MORE than hesitant to post these pics: http://whitewomenblackmen.com/forum/showthread.php?p=319039#post319039 I know I'm not all that - there will always be someone prettier and with a better body - but all be damned if I'm not gonna work what I got. I think the biggest problem with size(s) in today's society is that most men (and some women) have an idea in their head about what they believe a size 12 or 14 or 16 looks like. And most people (men and women) think lard ass when they hear the term plus-size or full-figured....BUT they make these assumptions based on the fact that a lot of fat women like to refer to themselves as plus-size. I'm not hating on fat girls b/c God knows I'm no skinny minnie! But, oh how it pisses me off when people want to put the two pics below in the same category. For so many years, I've struggled with this issue that I'm not thin enough, I'm not pretty enough...and I probably will continue to struggle with that as long as there are men who, without thinking, throw out statements like "someone who is a size 16 ain't hot". I would like to think if for some reason I were ever thrown back into the dating pool, that there would be men who appreciated my body and wouldn't be totally repulsed by the fact that I don't have a washboard stomach or a perfectly sculpted ass. There's a huge difference between being a big girl and being a fat girl. I'm gonna go now, b/c I'm not sure I'm making any sense. :smt102
Girl, you're very pretty and you have a man who loves you. I'm glad you're standing up for women in the middle so-to-speak, cause I'm one of them myself.
Wow suprchic your pics on the other thread are hot! Gorgeous face AND body. As for chubby chasing, uhhmm I've never been with someone drastically overweight but wouldn't rule it out. Bodywise I'm not too fussy these days. Can't lie, I love me some abs but it's not a dealbreaker. I do not think I could be with someone like Bizarre from d12. I apologise for being shallow but... For real though I do have a lot of stairs going up to my apartment.
