The worst part is that its suppose to compete in the netbook market and offers nothing better but they want double the price. They really need to upgrade this shit. I'm an apple fanatic and I wouldn't take it even if it were a gift.

In three years or less most if not all Netbooks will be irrelevant. HP is getting ready to cannibalize their own Netbook line with their own portable device. Most companies will lose the millions they invested in Netbooks because of the portable devices on the way. These portable devices may not be worth anything to you at this time but they will pretty quickly, technology does not stand still.

Notebooks/laptops will also become completely irrelevant for most in 7-12 yrs because of the possibilities that iPad and other portable devices will offer at that time. The internet in 2001 for most was dial-up. There were very few interactive website, most desktop computers were bulky, the digital music craze hadn't taken off and almost no one had Plasmas or LED TV's. Oh yeah what's a wireless headset in 2001?

iPad & and every other portable device being released is the future of personal computing, it's here right now in it's infancy...

Netbooks will stay around just because of sheer pricing and how compact it is. I have one and its great. There will always be a place for cheaper products as long as they are functional. Look at anything Windows based its clearly inferior to Mac os but its more afforable so its not going any where
