i'm not surprised. it was in the second era of home video gaming. which would put it around the late 80s. original nintendo system and PCs.
fantastic time sucker. how about one of the greatest sports games ever on a home system, LAKERS vs CELTICS (which begat the whole NBA Live franchise)
I posted a Big Wheel and a bike that I realized that all it had in common was that it was pink. I couldn't find one like my old bike. You know, since you mentioned it. I'm going to post that too. I forgot! LOL! We posted almost the same thing http://www.whitewomenblackmen.com/forum/showpost.php?p=304307&postcount=60 I used to own this "video game" console:
great minds IB, great minds... i was actually lookin for one like you posted, cause i had an orange one. the plastic on that muddasukka was so friggin hard. the point on that board would cause serious injury if that piece jabbed you. lol
I had an orange-ish-brownish multicolored one. Here's my post about it: I think we think similarly about the end result...lol
yepper. that's why i threw that thing in the basement and started riding my brother's hand-me-down ten speed instead. some generic version of a schwinn lookin joint. gettin my greg lemond on. lol
Those were the days...lol I blocked out a lot of my childhood, but I remember these "toys".... I had something similar to the big board you posted that my brother gave to me. That was smooth sailing...lol
wurd. unfortunately i still clearly remember a lot of the bullshit of childhood... but i do prefer to focus on the few fun things that gave solace. and yea, moving up to that big ass board was definitely smooooth. hmm, so was that 10-speed now that i think about it. i used to ride that piece to jr high school. i had a cheap ass version of this scooter too. that crap wasn't even close to fun. it was more annoying than anything. that's why i laffed at those clown ass razor scooters when they came out. "been there, done that" (dr dre style)
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really thought I was an oddity. My mother won it in some contest. I luv ya GG! LOL!!!!!!!!!
You know that I luv ya, too!!! My dad bought some kind of appliance, and the store had a special where you could buy one for $100 more. It's funny because I was just talking about it the other day with someone, and they had no clue what I was talking about. I guess it didn't do as well as Atari. LOL
:smt087....Your bike is faster than mine Lol! Good stuff IB. Check this out: What do you know about the Pogo Stick!
I think we're the only ones in America with it...LOL They were damn near giving them suckers away...lol That is too funny.... I wanted an Atari, but I don't know why I never got one. I used to go upstairs to my neighbors to play theirs. I later got a Nintendo. Odyssey was boring. I only had one game and I had to put it on my b&w little 15 inch or whatever small shit that was...lol I had another thing too, if I can think of the name, I'll post it. Unless someone knows what I'm talking about. It was a video camera and it came with a little tv and you can record stuff...lol
I had never heard of it when my dad brought it home, but I was happy to have it to play. I don't even remember the games that I had. I played it a lot though. I never had an Atari either. I went straight from the Odyssey to a Nintendo too. I did have this Atari game. Do you have any idea how hard it was to play head-to-head on this little arcade? LOL
