Would be great to see him win, although Tom Watson 1 shot back at age 60 and Couples leading at 50 are amazing stories as well. http://sports.espn.go.com/golf/masters10/news/story?id=5066447 I hope his latest Nike commercial is his last apology as well!
I don't care about him, not anymore. Though, it was wrong for him to using his late father's voice to do this Nike ads.
Absolutely. If he messes around and wins the Masters the forgivers will come out of the woodwork and memories will become amazingly short. Amnesia, even! (in my best Snagglepuss voice)
You need more people we don't believe you. I thought his ad was thought provoking. It was actually a pretty good ad because a lot of folks are discussing it.....mission accomplished, the swooosh wins again!
you are absolutely correct...everyone is talking about it...even people that you wouldn't expect...i think the interesting thing is when people jump on the "it's creepy" bandwagon...it is actually pretty genius...if you think back to just about every newscast since the night tiger hit that tree...they all planted the seed for nike...the big question was, "what would tiger's dad say if he was alive" nike in their commercial answered the question...pure genius on nike's part
I think it is kind of degrading to Tiger. The feeling from the whole commercial I get is that he is like six years old and put out the neighbor's window with a rock and his dad is scolding him. But they say in the business even bad press is press.
in my family my mom was a yeller...my dad was the type that could just look at you shake his head and say something like he was disapointed...his words always had more impact...my perception of tiger is that even as an adult he thinks about what his father would have said to him...it would have been fairly close to what the commercial says...and yes, jordan it would make him feel like he is 6 years old again...not a proud moment...
