I'm sorry Ad, I wasn't trying to be arbitrary or debate you. You know I still luv ya! I just hear about other cities traffic and people complaining and I'm like yawl ain't seen nothing till you've experienced traffic here. Nice weather and gridlock....
I'm sorry that I can both empathize and sympathize with you. :smt056 What freeway were you on Ms. FG?
no worries playa, i felt no heat from your response. nuthin but luv, ML Cool IB. only difference tween me and the rest of them tho... i don't complain about things that are just a part of urban life that will never change. such as traffic. i just plan it into everyday life, like "how long will it take for me to pick my groceries and get thru checkout?" another thing i don't gripe about... just plan accordingly.
that's real talk tho... every paradise on earth has its trappings. and 9 times out of 10, it has something to do with the commute. whether it's daily traffic or weekly flying. gotta love it or leave it alone, brand nub's style. hahaha
LOL @ ML Cool B (I wish that were really true, but thank you) :smt058 Our traffic has increased tremendously in this past decade. I complain when I can't get around it. I always try and think of ways to get to my destination unscathed....lol That doesn't always work...lol I always try and find the shortest checkout line. I hate standing in a long ass line. I like the self checkout thingies, but a place like Trader Joes, doesn't have that.
Thats was from USC, 10N-710S-5S. I drive a LOT everywhere due to my job. Know I 35 in Austin very well, the DC traffic very well, Philly traffic very well, know H-town traffic very VERY well. Honolulu traffic very well (acctually Kona traffic on the big island is getting horrendous to for the little strecth it is) ... Seattle also as I lived there and I know traffic very well in a bunch of other cities (SLC, Portland, Orlando, Phoenix, Tucson, LV, SF, SD, Dallas, Chi-town, NY etc). I dont know a city that is so unpredictable when it comes to traffic as LA. Given the hours I spend in traffic in LA in a week due to my job, Im smashed when I look at the mileage I have, nothing!!!! just freaking 15mph traffic and I even try to avoid the so called rush-hour I get through about one sound book per week on my GPS. Oh, I have my GPS for one reason alone, it routes me around traffic, still - no ceegar.
hahaha... i thought u might appreciate the nubian's ref. lol and for the record, you could never convince me it ain't true, ML Cool IB!!!
That sucks! As you and I've discussed this before, you're so right! You never know when you'll be able to drive through easily (doesn't happen too often) and when you'll be sitting there staring at the cars in front of you for hours. I don't call it rush hour, I call it rush day.
I gotten so used to it, I dont really care, I go w the flow. It seems I get rear ended one time per year in LA. Mofos that dont know that LA traffic goes from 80 mph to 15 pmh in a few seconds
LOL, usually not particularly bad, cept that one I had in SD when somebody rear ended me at 70mph last summer, dude was on drugs or something.. It was really weird.. fled the scene....
