When White women are into African American, African, or Caribbean culture such as music, food, movies, etc but have no interest in dating/relationships with people of african descent. Some don't even have the slightest interest, i mean how is that possible? I guess your attracted to whatever your attracted to, but still. And this may go even general(with women and men of all ethnicities) and the people dont date some different ethnicity but has alot of interest in the culture though. Just wanted to get that thought out. Say what you want people.
I guess it just all comes down to preference. They may enjoy the culture and still have no interest in dating the men. It's kinda tough to explain.
I've always wondered that too. It's like you'll see WP into Reggae (or Hip Hop) who'll go to the festivals, are heavily into the music and possibly have dreads too! They're so deeply into it, but they're with their White mate. I'm like okay, I guess it's just an appreciation and nothing more.
I like Chinese Food, Bruce Lee and Akira Kurosawa I like Mexican Food and Diego Rivera I don't like wooden clogs or Ushanka's I don't like folk dancing or bagpipes ........
I cannot think of any girl that is heavily into another culture that has not experienced a guy within the culture they have embraced one time or another. Not everyone is flamboyant about his or her personal life. Bear in mind, those who are heavily into another culture more than their own, will not see a colour/ethnicity barrier. It will be non-existent for the sense of comfort bestows them around such surroundings. So there is no reason to consider having a mate offering a different pigmentation than them selves as something out of the ordinary. Fancying a particular type of music cannot be classed as being heavily into the culture. Neither, enjoying a particular dish that is not synonymous with your own culture. That is the misconception many assume. What keeps two people together other than physical attributes is personality. Music, Movies, & Dining can bring two people together. However that does not guarantee a long-term commitment. Cheers!
I don't like Mexican food but I like Mexican women. I don't mind Sierra Leonean food and some of their music but not attracted to their women at all.
Excellent questions. I have to educate some of my Trini and African boys about this. When they go to a reggae bar and see full of very attactive white women spotting rasta hair style, wearing King Haile Selassie T-shirts plus african dress and naming where the best place to eat fufu or injera..... then these bruthas get confused and think these ladies dig BM. It throws off and confuses ppl. These ladies love the culture (food, music, attire, expression, and language)BUT not the men....lol... I know go figure. I have even met few swedish immigrants in chicago reggae bar fond of Jamaican and African culture but only date WM, no biggie, that's their perogative. In fact, one of them is a teacher and spent some years in Africa volunteering in an AIDS clinic. While there she changed her name to East African sounding name, picked up the local dialect very well, wears African dashiki, scarf and hair sash, and identifies with african women struggle and has a white american man on her arm..... lol Life is interesting, you just got to be very logical about things....
A mexican woman can't do shit for me...but I do like mexican food. You NEVER hear people say they like mexican music. Their music sucks harder than a dyson vacuum cleaner. That's one thing people from all cultures can agree on.
You just like to dissagree. Or You're confusing it with Cuban or some other "latino" music. That shit mexicans play is dead on arrival.
