Life is full of hills and valleys, you have to take the bitter with the sweet, adjust and move on. My girlfriend and I are no longer an item. She left once the money started drying up.

I like going through the tough times periodically because it lets you know who your true friends are. Its a good thing this happened when it did instead of later on down the road when we were married or had kids.

She grew up in a certain lifestyle that she is use to and I was able to give her that lifestyle when things were going good. However, once I had to start cutting back, her true self started to come out.

Oh well, NEXT. If a person doesn't want to be with you in the bad times, you CERTAINLY don't want to be with that person during the good times. Good thing I found this out now.

However, Kimbo can't live without his periodic dose of some sweet "sugar". Once I step back a little and regroup, Kimbo is going to come back stronger and harder so some of you ladies better watch out. :smt077:smt077

I am truely sad for you...I had the feeling that something is not ok with you- the reason why I was soo happy to see you posting this morning..I was thinking, ok, business was the reason, so nothing "serious". I was wrong..

But now you tell me that you have several critical moments and that is sad. I would have wished you not to make such an experience, but for sure, it happens.

Christine, I know you are old enough to know things like this in life happens. You can't predict it, you never see it coming but it happens. A lot of times, things like this happens for the good. Its better to have happened now instead of way in the future when a lot more would be involved.

You are correct, some things do happen for a reason. One of the things you learn when life is going good for you is that sometimes you attract the WRONG people. You really don't NEED those people mixed up in your life because life is full of ups and downs, for everyone.

If they are "fair weather" friends, you need to purge them from your life as soon as possible. They are only there to use you.
