Howard Stern vs. Gabourey Sidibe

i am not surprised at all that she is working...i just wonder how long it will last...i would love to be wrong but it's not like we haven't seen one hit wonders in the music business...it can happen in hollywood as well...it's like the role jennifer hudson played in dream girls "effie" she was amazing in the role...it's almost as if it was meant for her to play it...i don't think we will be seeing jennifer hudson in many more movies...unless she plays perhaps another legendary singer...i love her music!

 

She was really good in The secret lives of bees.
I really hope to see more of her.
But you are right, some of these cross-overs just fizzle.
I cross my fingers for her.
I love her voice!

 

i have not seen that movie but i am going to put that on my list...i just remembered that she did a cameo in the sex in the city movie...she was carrie's assistant too...

"Precious" was the first film of the New Year that we saw...and Mellisa & I opine that the lady is going places.

Given the chance Gaby is destined for greatness.

Tell that to John Goodman, Rosanne Barr, and the families of The Much Regretted John Belushi and The Much Regretted John Candy for starters..

As far as Gaby....and the *deep* roles she SHOULD be doing....(with NO comedy WHATSOEVER!) is concerned....she'd *better* have a DAMN GOOD AGENT backing her up!
