Back from Haiti. I am exhausted and emotionally drained but it was a life changing experience.

It was amazing. I am not sure how to describe it. I saw things that have left me shaken to the absolute core and I still wake up crying. But I also saw the best that humans have to offer each other. I am in awe of the spirit of the people of Haiti. There was singing and dancing and friendship and kindness offered to everyone. It was just mind boggling.

I would like to return but I would be pushing it at the moment. Maybe in the summer. We shall see. They still need so much help.

I am on holidays for 2 weeks and the boy is coming out in a week. Home to Canada in June and dare I say VEGAS in August!

Well it is very possible.

The man and I are going away somewhere in July. Don't know where yet, we will decide when he gets here. Somewhere hot and tropical that involves no thought or planning. The two of us, a beach and a bar. That is about all I am up for.

After that I may just have to slide on over to Vegas. My goodness, how much fun would that be!

We might need bail money!

How are things? Met some legends from MSF and thought of you. You need to get over there.

It was great, worked my ass off, met some wonderful people and actually felt like I did some good. I know it sounds corny but I was in there up to my elbows and I know I helped somebody. It was a great experience. Haunting but great.
I am back in sand land and my head is spinning. It is hard to go from no toilets to indoor ski slopes but thats the way it goes.

I am off to get a massage, a mani and a pedi. Poor woman who has to try and do my feet and hands. They have been in work boots for a while now and my hands look like they went through a cheese grater!

Then I feel a killer pair of heels, a dress and some seriously hot lingerie is in order. I need to feel like a woman again!

I still have dirt in places I did not know I could get dirt. Had the best shower, bath, shower combo of my life. The simple things like a bath are just the best!

Just stopped by to say hi myself. Trying to survive finals plus work. Not a good combo. They've gave me way too many hours on the days I need to be doing homework. Haven't had a day off since last Wednesday and I am -severely- behind on my projects. It's almost 5am and I just finished editing the titles, and after about 2 hours sleep we're heading back to school to get the rest of the movie edited together and turned in (hopefully >.<) at 1. Then it's off to work at 6, and maybe, just maybe, I'll get some sleep around 11. If I'm lucky. I've still got two other projects due on Wednesday and a history exam on Tuesday.

I'm fucking exhausted. -_- I simply cannot wait til Spring Break. Mine starts Thursday. I look forward to sleep! And hopefully we'll get to hit the beach sometime next week.

I saw yours Nyx, it looks nice.

I bought this light brown, but my natural color is chocolate brown and I dyed it burgundy, but they blended together. This new color, turned my roots like strawberry blonde and the rest is dark (old color). So tomorrow, I'm going to buy some root touch-up stuff and do the roots so it'll blend better. Now it looks like a rainbow...lol

 

I've dried it, but didn't didn't style it.
