The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is seting up a decades long road map to extend high speed Internet access to every corner of the country. It will allow Internet speeds of at least 100 megabits per second. the proposal will also seek superfast internet access of 1 gigabit per second for public facilities such as schools, hositals, and government buildings in every community. The key component of the plan is creating a new wireless network for police, firefighters and other public safety workers. In my opinion, this could be the start of a new economic revolution if done right. I would like to have assurance that high speed networks reach "ALL" americans by allowing them to tap into the information economy and take advantage of accessing their electronic health records and other developments. I hope someday we can evolve to Internet speed of one trillion bits (terabit) per second. Now that will be a true revolution that will change our world.

Verizon, AT&T are launching their LTE mobile networks next year that are supposed to be 5-10x faster than the current 3G high speed network available.

    That's a start.

And of course tmobile isn't doing that. So annoying!
I'm really excited about the new wireless glasses that are coming out. You see things the way the terminator did.

Yeah lol. Great rate plans but since the sidekick they haven't been able to keep up with current technology.

Verizon right now, but I want the iPhone.

Apple is going to debut a new iPhone this summer and I'm waiting to see what it is.

Supposedly, once these new LTE networks get up and running next year, the iPhone will be available on Verizon since AT&Ts exclusive contract with them is ending this June. Its all speculation.

Long story short, I want to get an iPhone and am willing to go to whoever provides it.

At the moment, AT&T is the one so I guess it's going to be them come June after the new phone debut.

I'm personally pissed at apple right now. That ipad was an epic fail. They could have changed the game but they decided to be cheap instead. Even though the iphone is hot you're probably better off getting an ipod touch and a bb for your phone. Something about all my tech needs being one devise feels a little 1984ish to me

I was considering getting the BB but the web browser is terrible. Waaay too slow and horrible @ navigating web pages.

I don't plan on using my iPhone as an mp3 player. Only for web browsing and phone calls.

    I have an iPod touch.

I have the iTouch and BB combo. I know what you mean about the web browsing. The BB Bold is a little bit better though. Part of the reason BB slows down at times is because of the lack of adequate applications that are compatible with the BB devices. Research In Motion (RIM) is working on that though. I would like to see what they have up their sleeves because the iPhone is killing the game right now.

The new android phones are crushing the market too. They aren't limited to one service provider

Yep. The Android operating system is very polished and it rarely freezes unlike the windows mobile operating system. I probably would buy one if I wasn't so loyal to my BB (Yes, I'm addicted). At this point, the only other phone that I have my eyes fixed on is the iPhone. So much technology is coming out this year and I guess I'm not so quick to jump at the first thing I see.

Andriod is the next best thing to the iPhone OS.
