Black Latino Ballplayers Are Not Black?

Baseball player Torii Hunters (African American) says black latinos are not black. He says they are imitators as blacks. Hunter feels there need to be more African American ballplayers in American Baseball.

yea, dude was in left field (no pun) on this one. but on a slightly different note, i do find it odd that black latinos don't consider themselves black. or maybe that's just my american mind at play... they prolly just don't think like that in the countries they are from. maybe?

 

I consider my self black and I'm puertorican. Obviously not african american, because you guys have a diffrent mix than us, but we have the same ancesters(african) . We puertoricans are a mix of spanish(white european), indian and africans.

In a recent poll EIGHTY percent of Dominicans consider themselves white...that is GENETICALLY IMPOSSIBLE.
