:smt058 thanks gorgeous. i thought i was over it until i fell pregnant with my firstborn, that's when i realised that its something that will always stay with you. my main concern now is to keep me in check and to make sure my children, especially my daughter, do not fall prey to the same thing.

We all have some kind of pressure no matter what we weight

I have people comment a lot how thin am and not in a nice way
even when i was younger i remember one time a teacher once told me you are too thin what you eat grasshoppers .. was not funny comming from a teacher saying this to a 12 years old .. i told her i bring you a plate next time you can be thin too (she was a little over weight) well after this my grades drop :p
also i eat slow and people used to see my weight and tell after its ok no need to finish the food i guess they thought i was eating slow because i didnt wanted anymore... or what ever else

anyway just be happy and dont care too much always will be people that will comment bad or dont like how you look
as long as you are healthy and you have no problem then all ok

Well, I saw your tummy and I'd love to have your post-baby body any day.

When it comes to your baby girl, that is key. You want to stop the cycle.

Yes, there is less pressure, simply because bm tend to have a more realistic view of a woman's body than wm.

That's being very general of course, there are exceptions.

Oh and I really do think there are more bm who like fat women then there are wm who like fat women. I mean there are lovers of fat women in all cultures, but I think they exist more in men of African origin than any other. Perhaps it's an extention of the love of curves? Where as now days wm tend to love women who look like they haven't eaten in a year.

How you couldn't love a woman with a lovely soft, rounded, curvy body is beyond my understanding really. Not liking fat women, I understand (although there are plenty who do love them), but curvy, "thick" women? Wm are missing out.

you are right . in africa ( most parts) i remember seeing some kind of special about beauty where it said bigger the better. they love big women.

maybe we still have it in our blood here in america. I dont like HUUUUGEE but thick/curvy is great for me. I will take em slim ( if skinny she will have to be bad) to curvy and a little over

That's the main thing that WW like about BM, we're not body Nazis like other guys.

It's true. I'm open to pretty much any body type short of 100% obese. I've got my own internal metrics of what I think looks good.

same here . It has to be porportioned ( i know i spelled it wrong) . i dated a woman who i thought was a little too big for my tatste and it turned out to be a great relationship.

she was a sistah too. so there are some good bw but im developing a great yearning to do the swirl. well i have always wanted to but im more bold about it now.

Oh I wouldn't say that's the main thing, y'all got a lot more going for you than just not being 'body Nazis' Karma. But in general I find BM to be more open minded and accepting on all fronts than WM.

You know I just knew you were going to ask GL. Essentially the BM I've known are far less likely to try to dictate everything. They don't try to tell you what to wear, where you can and cannot go, what you can and cannot do. They don't give you crap for speaking your mind, or for actually having an opinion, and they never ask you to dumb it down. The WM I've known are the exact opposite. They want a say in everything. I had a guy actually change my order in a restaurant once, and try to pick out my clothes when we went out. He was a little too controlling, but most of the WM I've dated were very similar. The BM I've dated never tried to run my life, they just let me be and that didn't appear to take any effort on their part. So I've just concluded from personal experience that BM are more open to allowing you to just be you.

is there something just being too big. but then biiiiggggg girls need love too. so there is someone for everybody

You're right, there is someone for everybody and really the "too big" is simply a question of personal opinion. There are men who love women HUGE (and women who love men HUGE) and others who like 'em super skinny and others who like them somewhere in between.

Nothing wrong with liking any of those types of women (or men), nothing at all. Everyone should be free to be attracted to and love who or whom ever thay please. :) All shapes, sizes and colours.
