Hahahaha! We think too much alike Bookie. First thing I said when I saw her was 'what the hell was she thinking when she picked out that shade of lipstick!'.

She didn't thank God. They made their "Mammy" quota. But Sandy was the people's choice ("Blind Side" made a ton of moolah).

I also knew Bigelow would win for Best Director.

And I liked Sandy's lipstick shade, I don't care if red says "hooker" to you women.

It's not red, it's a hideous shade of pink, though it might be one of those reds that looks pink. Either way it's awful, true red would have been a vast improvement. And red doesn't say hooker, it's fine on other people and you're aware of what I think of it on myself.

Hmmm looked red to me. I'll see it again on the internet I'm sure.

I never said she looked like a hooker. I just said I didn't think the shade of lipstick that she was wearing went with her ensemble at all. I think it stood out, and NOT in a good way.

Mo'Nique made the Hattie McDaniel reference, of course. I'll say it again, Kathryn Bigelow is one sexy woman. Last year, when she was on the cover of Filmmaker magazine, I knew I had to pick it up. That's how captivating she is.

The degree to which I adored Sandra Bullock's dress cannot be measured. Didn't see her movie, not really eager to see it, but she's cool and that dress was banging.

Way, way over the moon happy about Bigelow's win.

I liked Monique's speech. I like how she talks about her man, and to her man. She never misses an opportunity to give him credit, she never undermines him to make herself look good. It's refreshing.

I came in late, was actually watching MI:3 when I realized it was on.

Bigelow is hot, and she's like 54-55. Puts most 20 year olds to shame. And now she's got the hardware. I knew she'd get it, they wouldn't pass up the chance to make history.

I am happy for The Hurt locker- an excellent film. And also happy for Music By Prudence, a short documentary-have not seen this one but heard lots of nice things about it.

    And good for Kathryn Bigelow!

Agreed, id say her IQ is pretty high

Cant say much about the other actors though.......maybe Tyler Perry (or w/e hes name) is a smart guy (very smart), and oprah is brilliant as well.

I think Robin Williams & Steve Martin should host the next oscars. They have similar personalities- although it is apparent that Robin is a better comic (more versatile).

Robin Williams is kind of a loose cannon. He might be a little too much for the Oscars....

But that would be an interesting duo.

I liked Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin as the hosts.
