I'll try to get back online occasionally, but it's unlikely I'll be here much. I'll be too "busy". ;) :smt042

Make sure you come up for air every now and then. We wouldn't want you to suffocate and drown now would we!:D

I had a mentally exhausting week at work. I'm completely and utterly drained right now.

I do believe I'll be taking a "mental health" day on Monday. I'm going to drop my little one off at school, come home, get back in my jammies and veg in front of the TV all day.

Sounds fantastic, I might take a note of that and do it myself.... "Mental Health Day" here I cometh.....

I am now a fully fledged Foster Mother!!! The interview process is intense, but understandable and between that and work I too am exhausted emotionally and physically..... Drained would be the correct word to explain how I feel right now....

lippy's idea of mental health is a day of beauty treatments...monday is pedicure, hair cut, lash extensions and brow wax day...prep for a week long trip back to dallas...i could go for a day in front of the tv or just reading a good book...almost makes me wish we would get one of those huge snowstorms where everyone has to stay home:smt115

i've never experienced a snowstorm, but believe it would be brilliant to see. i'm getting my seasonal hair cut and colour on wednesday and just can't wait, as well as the brow wax, don't feel done unless that's been slotted in...love treatment days

On my way back from Denver, I sat next to this dude from North Dakota - he sounded like "Fargo" and was a farmboy.
I could barely hear what he said because of his accent, never met someone who sounded like "Fargo". I was distracted by that.

I met and talked to people from all over the world and I never had a feeling like "this is curious" before and here I am, thinking just that talking to an all American boy. I felt guilty over being a bit judgemental.. ugh.

Just because you can't understand him, and you've never met anyone that sounded like that before, that doesn't make you judgmental FG. I think it's disconcerting to a lot of people when you can't understand the person talking to you. There's a Filipino stylist at the salon where we get our nails done and when she speaks you only catch about every third word. She was talking to my daughter the last time we were there and afterwards my daughter was telling me how bad she felt because she couldn't understand her. It really bothered her, and every time she sees her she feels bad about it. Now I ask you why is it your fault when you can't understand someone else?
