They need to hurry up and make a Blade prequel already.

Wes held out for a long time now he's finally looking his age.

And sorry, Andrae, the man's 11-12 years OLDER so how can he do a Blade PREQUEL? I hate when they try that. Like now in "Lost" where they are flashing back to 2004 and the plane never crashed, yet the actors have aged.

I watched Blade Trinity the other night  It's not as bad as people make out.

I liked Blade The Series too storywise, even though I didn't like Sticky Fingaz. They should have got Michael Jai White instead.

I think Blade is over really, everybody's old now.

Yeah I don't know how sticky got the role. All I remember him for is Onyx. Is Michael Jai White the only other brother who does martial arts?

I don't know but he's the only one who can step into Snipes' role as Blade IMO. He was even in "The Dark Knight" (but he didn't do martial arts or anything)

I think Sticky got it because they wanted to prove that the concept of Blade was the star, not Snipes. Remember Snipes sued them and there was bad blood. That they could get a cat who looked nothing like Snipes and still get over. It got cancelled though :D

Yeah only one season on Spike tv. They really over estimated themselves. Unless you were a hardcore comic geek there's no way you'd know about Blade without WS,

Blade Trinity sucked. They made it about the white co-stars more than about Blade. Isn't it hypocritical for white folks to complain about blacks being cast in book/comic book roles to play characters that were originally white AND THEN when the rare major black comic book character gets featured in his series of film, TPTB make the third film more about a bunch of white people? Its a sign that black actors can't win either way.

Blade the series was even worse and is a prime example of just how disinterested white writers/producers are when it comes to black characters and when it comes tousing black acting talent. They chose Sticky Fingaz! Now granted it probably isn't easy finding a black actor with martial arts skills. Still its one thing if they went with a black martial artist who was very green at acting or if they went with a real actor who had no martial arts training. But to pick a guy who was neither an actor nor an expert at martial arts?? That's absurd. Especially if the guy is supposed to be playing the title character of your show. Even worse they chose a guy with no onscreen charisma. Do you think TPTB would be that sloppy looking for a white guy to play the lead for such a show? Hell, no. They would be looking for the millionth white male star to be their face for the show. And while I didn't see most of the episodes, it seems as if all the other characters on the show besides Blade (translated: all the white characters) got to have sex and interesting love lives. Not surprising since any show/movie that deals with vampires tend to push the sex/lust angle. But the main character Blade gets none of this action?

Look believe it or not I don't like harping on race when it comes to the industry (I actually wish it wasn't a problem), but it amazes me that black men aren't nearly as aware of how Hollywood goes about de-sexualizing and emasculating black males. So it amazes me that any black guy, and I believe karma fits that category, can say they even kinda liked that show. Maybe I should envy their ability to block that shit out but that type of treatment of black male characters and black male actors screams at me to a point that I can't ignore it.

Hey, hey, hey now, Spunky. I feel your pain. But I'm at a stage where shit is what it is. I'm not trying to get a stroke or heart attack worrying about this stuff, it's bigger than me. Plus that's just what some folks want, for a smart black man to go crazy or drop dead

It didn't bother you that blade wasn't in most of the scenes it seemed to focus more on the white kids. And all the comedy from Ryan Reynolds was funny but not needed the whole movie. It could have been far better.

According to stuff I've read, Wes wasn't happy with the script or direction, so basically he didn't do anything more than what was required (mostly close-up/face shots). Most of the fight scenes were his stunt double and the white kids' roles were pumped up to take up the slack. It was a troubled shoot. Google "Blade 3 Wesley Snipes What Really Happened" and articles will come up.

I always thought it should have been just Wes and Jessica Biel  I hated Reynolds' character, basic white boy, always making nervous, awkward jokes, pauses, etc.

I did like the casting of Parker Posey as the vamp chick and John Michael Higgins as the psychologist guy.

After Blade II (which was the shit!) it's a shame it had to end up like that.

Thanks Karm for telling those who are behind a season or so the plot line for the final season. It's like 20th Century Fox placing the end sequence (Statue Of Liberty) of POTA (Planet of The Apes) on the cover of the first issue DVD release spoiling it for new comers who've never seen the movie...

Nakyung is Korean. I find Korean women to be prettier than other Asians.
