Flipside: What are some of the worst movies you've seen so far?

Steel is one of the worst IR movie because Shaq did not get the WW-and the writers made her paralyzed like Denzel Washington.

 

Steel was just one of the worst movies, period.

 

Just finished watching District 9, I really did not like it.

"Obsession"

I watched the last 30 minutes of this film last night and came away with the impression that there's no reason to see the entire movie. It was completely predictable and not even with the advantage of being well done.

Pass.

 

Very predictable, yet, somewhat entertaining.

I give it a D/C-

 

I was told by someone at this site way back to never waste my time watching this movie.


I hope somebody has the balls to do a remake 15 years from now with "the right kind of ending". If you know what I mean.

 

Remakes are the death of Hollywood. But then again, I'm not trippin'.

 

Worst movie I've seen so far? the most recent Dragonball Z Live Action movie...

so bad it hurt my heart. I love DBZ and that movie has ruined any chance of an actual great movie adaptation ever being made. I'm sure no director, studio, actor or producer will ever go near it ever again. Maybe someone will try to reboot it one day...

Though I am looking forward to 'The Last Airbender'. I think Mr. Shaylaman can pull it off, so far it looks good. He just might give Anime to Movie, movies, a good name!

 

You hear about Keanu starring in the Bebop movie?

 

Yeah, I heard about that! Who knows, maybe he'll do alright. Though I've always been a fan of casting no-name actors rather than known actors, I think they could probably find someone better overall, but I guess they want that surfer-dude-whatever-nonchalant vibe he brings to a lot of his roles. I've heard rumors of a 'Bleach' movie being given the green-light for production too.

 

That's the thing. Spike doesn't have the surfer dude voice. His voice is really chill, like a surfer, but he doesn't have the "dudeness" to it. Watanabe is involved in the movie though, so I have faith that it won't be an EPIC failure. After DBZ, you can only go up.....hopefully.

And I'm not sure how to react to a Bleach movie. Is it getting an American release, or is it gonna be a Japanese film? Most likely, they're getting 22 year olds to play the main cast. It would be to lame with actual 15 year olds. And how many 15 year old actresses have huge boobs? I would feel guilty lusting over the chick who plays Orihime, if it's a 15 year old playing her.

They're making several live adaptations in Japan. They're making a Beck movie(curious about that one), and 2 Gantz movies(I'm REALLY looking forward to the Gantz movies).

 

Haven't seen it and don't plan on seeing it, but I just saw the preview to this movie called "Lottery Ticket" and it looks like some straight nigga shit. I think this might be up there with Soul Plane.



Of course, there's the big dude that just got outta jail, the shady preacher, the best friend telling dude to "get at her" and a bunch of cameos from rappers and comedians with hood humor mixed in.

I'm sure at the end of the movie, Bow Wow gives the ticket to some more needy family, to which they return to the hood with a new Bentley but are still ghetto as ever. Or he splits it amongst his community or rebuilds some shit. And then he gets the girl.

Oh, and in the commercial, some chick says "I wanna have yo' baby" after finding out he won the lottery.

That Lottery movie looks real corny but I would watch it on DVD.

Twilight was on cable last night.
Never saw it before.

I dont get the hype....

It made me squirm, seriously.

 

It's a squealing teenager thing. I wanted to punch everybody in the throat who was spouting that Team Edward or Team Jacob shit.

 

Safe to say - I wont even catch the sequels on cable.

 

Based on the trailer alone I'm thinking that Ice Cube probably lost a bet or something.
