I was wondering if anyone could tell me a time when a black person invented something or made something better to improve the human condition. Or a civilization of black people that prospers without mass murder and starvation?

As far as your question about a civilization that prospers without mass murder or starvation that's pretty all human civilization. I ask you to name one that doesn't and for the purpose of this conversation that too place during CE( Common area) ie modern times ie anything from the exploration era up until now.
