Ah, sorry to hear that DH. I hope you feel better soon so you can enjoy Valentine's Day with your sweetie.

The day started off good here with manicure/pedicure appointments, but when I stopped at the ATM for cash the damn machine rebooted mid-transaction. It deducted the $200 from my account, but didn't give it to me, and then it took 10 mins to give me my card back. Went into the bank to let them know and they inform me that despite the fact that the ATM has their name plastered all over it that it's not actually their machine and therefore they aren't responsible for it and couldn't help me at all. My only option was to call my bank to file an ATM dispute and wait up to 10 days while they research the claim, they have no branches in Oklahoma which sucks at times like these. :(

No, no, no Nyx. It always gets better. I know it's hard to see it in the dark times, but the light is always there Nyx, you may just have to look for it. Never give up, and never lose hope, better times will come and you'll look back on this and be proud of yourself for sticking it out. Never question the impact your absence would have on other people's lives, like you son's. You may never see it, but you make a difference in the world, your presence here makes a difference.

Thanks for this nice post Espy, but i think you end up losing hope when dark times are over 16 years and continue ..

Don't take this the wrong way Nyx, but having been where you are I cannot tell you what a difference changing that makes. Regardless of your reasons, it's not worth that much misery. Sometimes you just have to make a change for you. :smt056

mynxie i completely agree with dr espy. change is needed...it's obvious that you need to get out of the life you have and start fresh. you'll find many women on this forum who have done just that, you are strong enough to do it as well. i urge you to seek a better life away from the one you are living...!!!! :smt056

I agree, Nyx!! Change is hard, but sometimes needed, and sometimes is just what the doctor ordered.

I'm sorry about how you're feeling. I know you've said in the past that you can't change your situation. If that's truly the case, then maybe you should talk to someone? If you really feel like you wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for your son, then it's time to seek some professional help and maybe get on some anti-depressants.

This is completely unsolicited and my opinion, but I don't like to read about someone as great as you feeling the way you.

I wish you the best and remember there are always people here you can reach out to in private, if need be.

I seem to have lost the pictures on my computer somewhere. When I get home tonight, I'll do a search for them and send you one.

    Thank you ladies!!

really really really sick. Throat infection's spread to the ears now, too. Trying herbal substitutes for antibiotics. >.< Also asking around amongst friends as to who might have some leftovers. I don't give a good goddamn if it's illegal, it's not narcotics but antibiotics I'm after and it's a sad state of affairs that I'd have to resort to asking for leftovers instead of getting my own prescription in the first fcking place.

Nate's worried. :( Me I'm only halfway having coherent thoughts so I dunno if I'm worried or not.

Girl, get yourself to a free clinic somewhere. Antibiotics work because you're given an allotment according to your infection (and a certain antibiotic according to the infection) that you must take ALL of it for it to kill the infection for good. If not, the infection comes back.

I hope you feel better and try to find a free clinic. You need a medical professional.
