Is John Mayer Racist?

Well seems like John Mayer doesn't like black women. So much for their white knight. Here he scrambles for black chicks that he thinks are cute. Too late.

No I have said this before, attraction and discrimination are two different
things... Discrimination means you hate somebody, just because your not
attracted to somebody doesnt mean you hate them. Muhammad Ali wasnt attracted to white women does that make him racist.

 

He always sounds narcicisstic in interviews. He doesn't love anyone as much as himself.

 

He definitely seems that way.

 

Why would playboy ask him if Black women were after him?

Maybe they figured if his 'struggle' is similar to a black dude's, maybe he's open to IR. Who knows. The whole interview gives you the impression he's a completely self-absorbed ass who thinks he's an existential, misunderstood genius. I don't listen to him, and I can tell I wouldn't want to know him personally, racist or not.

It has nothing to do with not being attracted to black women more than him saying the N-word and comparing his penis to leader of an organization that lynched, murdered, oppressed, and continues to seek oppression of Black Americans. :smt105

 

I think people may be misreading his quote. He seems to be saying that he hasn't had sex with a Black Woman, not that he never will. He seems to be suggesting that he will open himself up to it in the future, and even lists some Black Women he finds attractive.

As far as being offended about his calling his dick david duke? That's just being offended for the fun of it. David Duke should be described as a penis every half hour for the rest of eternity. Getting upset about that part of the quote is ridiculous.

I dunno, I think he's just so focused on schmoozing with the media and be funny and smart that he often becomes a victim of his "musings" (not nessesarily aware of how he comes across) . I dont know how many times I have gone "eh?" to his comments...
I dont think he nessesarily mean harm or is a racist - he just lack brain-to-mouth filters. I think he is a clown and nees to focus on only doing music as that is not too bad - just shut up
