Nobody is talking about african people colonising Europe. But why should they be made to return to Africa to improve life there?

 

Yeah thats the thing I think some people dont get, even though Im all for being welcoming, you know damn well if we went to a site where bm or ww arent the focus point we will be suspect by everyone as to why we are there or maybe get kicked off regardless.

You know, it isn´t possible that Europe allows all people in poverty to live here. But we have to understand that Africa needs time. The colonnies were left in the 60s and now the europeans claim, how slowly they are..we don´t want to take our reaponsibility for that disaster and we take out the advantage day by day. When these countries were free of us, they were like children (or at least most of them- others were going the cruel way) , because again we, made them to that .

To regulate the countries and to bring structures in it, to make them stable, to delete corruption of fight of power, will take a very long time. But here in Europe, and I guess in US, too, nobody, who hasn´t seen, how it is, will ever understand.

You have to make compromises, you have to work with corrupt ministers and you have to deal with rebell leaders..just to be able to change a little bit..but how shall somebody, sitting in his warm house, understand that, if he has never seen the situation and poverty .

Would any of us move and work in Africa under the same circumstances as Africans do? I doubt, but I would like to send people, who discuss so intellectual about Africans there, just for three month, let´s see, how they would think afterwards, if they would survive..

 

I don’t think anyone expects you to be welcoming Karma. Clearly by identifying himself as ‘White Guy’ he is almost guaranteed to illicit suspicion and enmity. I suspect he was also aware of that when he chose the name, which likely indicates that whatever his intentions are, this isn’t the place for him. However, he hasn’t as yet done anything to warrant banning, other than being white, which I hope we all agree isn’t a good reason in and of itself. Like Bookie said, the instant it becomes clear that he has an inappropriate agenda, he’ll be dealt with.

I fully acknowledge the point Karma made, and will take his word for it that he wouldn’t be welcomed on a BW/WM or AW/WM forum. However forgive me if I don’t aspire to be the sort who would run someone off just because of the color of their skin or because I don’t happen to agree with something they said. I support free speech and abhor censorship. Unless someone is openly hostile and hateful to the other members, racist, or anti-IR, I’m in favor of letting them be. I can just ignore them if I don’t like their opinion, just as they can ignore me.

You left out curiosity Kenny. Maybe he just wants to learn more about IR. Granted him being apparently a WM does beg the question why, but people's motives aren’t always sinister. Some people really are just curious about everything. Maybe he knows someone who dates IR and he seeks to better understand them, maybe his WW left him for a BM and he’s pissed, maybe he’s a racist and just wants to start trouble… only time will tell.

Bottomline, membership isn’t restricted to WW and BM and so we’re going to get the occasional BW and WM. At least this guy identified himself up front and didn’t pretend to be someone he’s not. I agree his motives make me curious, but regardless of what those are, I suspect they will become clear soon enough. That appears to be the one constant with troublemakers, they just can't hide it for long.
